Long shot here, but can it help with diminished vision due to macular degeneration? Have a family member suffering from it. He has enough Vision left to be able to effectively watch tv, but he can't read the text or any clocks. He navigates the menus through memorizing buttons. Could this offer any relief? What about helping him use the computer again? And where does one go to get these? I imagine you have to find a doctor that can prescribe them? How do you know who to go to? I'm sure these aren't available everywhere. And how much can one expect to pay? Most people these days especially don't have tens of thousands of dollars to throw at different products in the hopes of something working.
@SalWare686 wow! That's ridiculously expensive. Yes we definitely have to get very creative when it comes to finding alternatives. Our systems all about making $$ of of people suffering. Thanks for the information. I'm curious as to what alternatives you found.
@@nemyf1 it’s crazy! The Vuzix M400, if you can find a good price for one, seems to be alright. I’ll have it here in a few days to see for sure. The Vufine+ is wearable and you can pair it with a camera, but finding a camera that’s compatible and is wearable is hard. With all of the wearable technology available nowadays, it makes me wonder if there is some sort of pressure to not make devices that have features like that.
@@SalWare686 thank you. I'll research them. I wouldn't be surprised if some things are purposefully being suppressed from the market. It's all about greed and control.
