You mention the possibility of a second battery, do you know if the bike has a quick attach or already a wired connection for a second battery?
Hello mate, no the bike doesn't have anything of it, you'll have to do it yourself but its quite easy. I went with a battery blender, much better than parallel.
Thanks, I check this out 😀@@Marc.Electric

I respect you for trying your best to review this bike in english even if you had some trouble 👍
my english got better, its a great excercice, thanks mate, hope it helps anyway
Thanks a million for this great review. I watched your assembly video but can't understand french😅 so thanks for reviewing in english.
Would you be able to link the modifications that you added to the bike, the handlebars, the thing for the chain and the bag you added as well. I basically want to copy your exact set up 😁
Thanks again and your english is perfect!!
Thanks for this kind comment mate 👍 .
About the fork, handlebar and front chainring, they are all from parts I already had, but I will link them to you , just need to find them again 😉.

??? Does anyone think this unusual ''floating seat'' style might have a indirect benefit when it comes to feeling the roads vibrations? If the seat is not directly connected to the frame
on all sides, won't that mean less vibrations are felt in your groin and butt area ?
Thanks for the review
its my pleasure, hope you find it interesting mate!
Great detailed review. I've been looking into ebikes for a while. I started looking at small ones with 350w motors, and keep looking at more and more powerful ones that can go further on a charge. I think I've settled on this one (but branded EKX X20). I found one for about $1400 U.S., which seems great considering the specs. And it looks like a beast.
Cheers mate, yeah x20 from ekx is the same as the mx25, spec can slightly be different. This bike is a beast, check the link to compare 👍
Thanks for support
Thanks for the great review my friend. I bought a few months ago. The rear shock is not enough for my weight. 230lbs person. It’s bottoming out. I’m going to upgrade soon. And the second battery. Which I’m trying to figure out beside the Y adapter for 2 batteries. And where to mount it. And if the controller is enough or it needs to be upgraded to something higher current. I’m still learning. Thanks
Hey mate, thanks for your comment. I agree, rear shock needed to be changed but fortunatly their is plenty of it on amazon or ali express. For the second battery, if you are not an battery expert like me, i use some battery blender, so i dont have to stress about voltage and balance between cells, the blender is doing it for me :) . Have fun and safe ride mate!
Your English is great brother! Where did you find the extra battery?
@@Martin_Steven thanks bro, it's even better now! Go it on Amazon, "UPP" battery
great review! question: To change the handlebar on your bike, did you have to fiddle with the cables? thks!
Great review! I love in Scotland, UK. Is this not worth my time in relation to it not being rode legal? I noticed further down in a comment you mentioned there being a tolerance, I wondered if there was anyway round using it on the roads in the UK, and would simply sticking to the speed limit be enough? Thanks a lot!
@@nickgrant5800 I can't advise you to go against your state law buddy, but we are adult.
I see a lot of people from UK riding 750w ebike carefully without issues.
That's up to you my friend ;)
Hi, could you give me some directions for this bag under the frame, it looks nice 😊
hello mate, found it on local shop, but try to look for "waterproof mid frame bag" on aliexpress.
Do you think it is possible to restrict it to 25kmh? And pedal only no throttle? Is this possibility in the software?
Depends on the display you have, if you have the same as mine you can restrict it by pulling brakes +trottle +power on for 15-20sec .
If you have another display, then you can restrict it in the parameters.
If you want to disable trottle, you need to unplugged .
Thx for the english version review! Very helpful! Good footage and info! A few quick questions if you have time? 1) What was the handle bar you installed, and how difficult was it to do that job? 2) I see in your title, that you label this as MX25 and X20. Would say that both are nearly identical? If not what are the main differences? Thanks again!!!
hello hello ! thanks mate !
1/ handle bar is bmx , you can find it on amazon, very easy to use, just unscrew and put the new one, make sure you take the right handlebar dimension (like 31.8 or 25.4mm)
2/ yes, they are sold under numerous brand, there is some components differences but the frame is the same.
Pareil, je suis une bille mais là pour le soutien!
thanks Hervé!
Thank you a lot I’ve been waiting for this day when I got a review of this bike you done an absolute great job keep it up 💯👊🏾💪🏾

Did you have to modify any cabling or wiring when you fitted the bmx handlebar, because of the extra length you need?
Not necessarily, I did manage to fit all the cable without creating too much tension, but I also changed the front fork

Cool 👍👍👍
Looking into the bike but there are 2 things that are holding me down to buy it. 1 how is the battery life of the bike and is it just a generic brand or LG type of battery and 2 i'm 1m85 would my height be a problem to comfortably use this bike.
With kind regards 👍
Cheers mate, battery cells are 18650 if I'm correct, the battery max voltage when full charge didn't drop after 1400km.
About your height, I think you will have to raise the handlebar to be confortable. You should be OK anyway but I personally changed the fork and handlebar to suits my style of riding 👍
@@Marc.Electric the fork would be something for in the future but the handlebar + extender will be a suitable upgrade then for the bike ;) just wondering was the diameter of the original handle bar 25.4mm or 620x31.8mm ?
@@dwightsmith7703 if I remember well it was standard all terrain bike handlebar, so 31mm, but be careful, bmx handlebar tend to be 25mm
@Marc.Electric hi do you have a link to the forks you got as I have the same bike but stock forks are not great?

Hi Marc, Im french live in uk and normaly i have enjoy with your présentation because next month i have buy one for delivery good but thank you to remenber its illégal in uk for a speed 50 km... Because in uk maximum speed is 25~km, before i have a control with à Police for m'y pure scooter and in chance m'y Best speed off m'y scooter by 25km but sometime i got 27km.. Great thanks give m'y five see you in your next vidéo 👍😁.
Cheers mate ! fyi they tolerate 10% above the speed limt, so 25kmh going 27kmh shouldn't be a problem, at least in France. I didt change the motor on mine, for a 250w bafang to comply with laws and making it road legal and not only offroad. Have fun but ride safe mate! cheers!
Thank you buddy for sharing this!I live in Germany and thinking to buy this awesome e-bike.Could you please tell me,how to unlock the speed limit?
i dont know if you have the same display as me, but its easy to go on setting and change the speed limit on parameters
@@Marc.Electric yes,I have the same display as you do and the same bike!:)But I don’t know how to unlock the speed limit.
Would you be so kind to send me step by step a little instruction?
Many many thanks in advance 🙏

Thanks for the video mate. I am looking into buying an MX 25 and were wondering if it would work with my height. So the part where you mention your height and wait was a great help
Glad it helps mate! Check for ekx x20, they have the 35ah !
