1)Not everyone give jee mains for iits only they also give jee for nits,iiits and other government colleges.
2)we dont want iits for status but for better employment.

It's less about college and more about skills. People these days are either not employable or not affordable. My organisation's HR is finding some good sales person and UI/UX people for past 4 months, and have processed only 3 people to second round, we get more than 100 applications on each job post, but there are rarely people read about the JD or skills required.

YES!! this is true that many engineers are unemployable and many curriculums are outdated too but there is a saying in Indian society that if you are an good engineer then you can lead life easily without the tension of recession. This is because a good engineer always try to improve himself and make himself market(job) ready

I am from NIT bhopal cse 2024 batch , and i can verify this videos is 100% true , idk about job market declining from 2010 but it has dropped majorly after 2023 , recession has hit us bad , like real bad . Our senior has 3-4 offers each , from good and stable companies and good offers while 2024 batch was punished with all the major and good companies backing off , engineering is going down bad , colleges do need to focus on skillset of students rather then marks and gpa

this time, nearly 16 lakh(1.6 million) students in total had appeared for jee(s1 + s2). And it is expected to rise even higher next year. My biggest concern is that when i went to college 2 years ago as a first year.(it was a NIT and i had taken up CS) I had initially thought i was about to find peers with some enthusiasm, experience in computers, i had thought i was gonna have really cool friends. But majority of students in the course had hardly any knowledge in cs. When i asked "cs kyu liya?" they usually answered along the lines of either that it was a good course in a good college or because there was a lot of money in it. nearly half of them didnt even have any idea of the syllabus in this course before they had arrived there(Every government college has openly published their course structure). They were smart no doubt about it, its not easy to get into a NIT. But solving mcqs wont make you valuable in the industry. I understand building a good core is important but if thats all people limit themselves to , then nothing can be done to help it. In a field like CS, AI or MAC where the industry/environment changes extremely fast, being lost or having no motivation or interest can be the death of someone's career.

we are so behind in terms of tech, programming is a mainstream thing now. companies are trying to automate everything and cost cut, because they don't want to spend money behind employees, in the period of recession investors have lost a ton of money so to keep their bank balance full they are hiring less and at a cheaper rate. If they can't clear neet,they take 5-6 yr drop.
After passing mbbs or pg, they see govt vacancies are too less, or there is no recruitment for 2-3 yrs. Private nursing homes are not eager to accept new ones. 10 yrs ago, this problem was not there in medical field. Still , iit, nit and aiims are dependable.

guys my engineering professor was saying batch after covid are the worst batch in my college, they can't do reasoning, they don't even remember area of circle, circumference of circle, they are not able to solve integral and differential calculus question, just because of copy paste behavior they pursue, even in covid all of where trying to copy answer from another sources, professor words was students are trying to ignore mathematics and want to have good LPA Salary or having own influential channel on social media.

Bhai college hi nhi baacho ko choti umer (matlab school level) se hi skill based education deni caheya, in my opinion.
