My 76yr old wife suffered injuries from a fall. Due to unvaccinated Covid patients, we had to wait 4 hrs before getting her into ER & surgery. My small business has been surviving thanks to our fully vaccinated staff. They were free to choose not to be vaccinated as they are free to voice their political or religious views, free to carry firearms, and free to not undergo testing for intoxicating or controlled substances, but NOT on our property and payroll.
I read about a man whose wife was in the hospital being treated for fluid build up do to breast cancer and she was asked to leave two days before her treatment finished because they needed her bed to treat a Covid patient. Why doesn’t anyone keep stats on the number of people who need hospitalizations for other illnesses and how the delay in treating them have affected their health?
then they should be free to wait longer then your wife that needed surgery and I am sure got the vaccine. I think insurance companies should be able to drop these anti-vaxxers from their insurance policies or have their insurance premiums raised really high but instead we will all be paying more for our insurance and healthcare.

Desantis and his kids go to a private school where masks are mandated. Maybe his kids should go to the same schools his policies are implemented in….
They should make lawmakers kids REQUIRED to go to public schools. Then they would care! And make Faith-based schooling illegal so we don't dumb down America.
Well of course his kids are in private school wearing a masks but he's counting on you to bring him votes by believing that not wearing a mask temporarily is a freedom. It's a death sentence and not everybody wants to die.
It's worse than that, the DeSantis kids are too young for school! He's pushing vouchers for private schools because they make their own rules and so far only 1 has mandated masks. What he's doing is using this to push for more private schools, he's offering vouchers to parents who's schools have mandated masks. He signed an order back in May to extend private school vouchers to families who's parents make upto $100,000, what he's doing is gutting funds from state schools in favour of private by redirecting state money to private schools.

He can try, I guess, but anyone withholding payment to employees after doing work they are contracted to do, is in violation of federal law. There is a lack of one ot the water treatment chemicals because its being over used by ICU patients that have covid and are on oxygen. so Deathsantis told residents to cut back on water usage to free up more of the chemical. if the trend continues they said the residents will need to boil water due to (yes), contamination because of the lack of the water treatment chemical.

Shouldn’t you check with the people before you start withholding monies that the people are supplying to the schools. Some of these leaders are acting like it’s “their” money when it belongs to the people who pay taxes, don’t forget we pay their salaries too, which we should be able to withhold as well
It would be breaking an implicit/explicit contractual obligation. The teachers are fulfilling their part by teaching. The state must ask a judge to enforce their executive order, as this is a different proposition.
