I’d love it if you could keep an eye out for the new Offerman expression - the fourth - Lagavulin!! Rum cask! Not usually a lover of rum casting but I will always buy Lagavulin!! My fave distillery!
It's not fair that Costco gets so many bottles of Buffalo Trace distillery products. I live in a state controlled liquor state, and our stores rarely get any BT products!
Samoan Barkeep, Thanks for the comment, They can be good, but also keep in mind in some states Costco doesn't sell liquor. Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
Grand opening in Newark, CA tomorrow. For these super rare bottles like the Yamazaki 18 in the case, how do you get them? Do you take a slip with the item # or do they have them ready?
Out of the bottles you were able to get, no question I would pick up the EH Taylor Barrel Proof, especially at that price. I'm always jealous of your finds but hopefully I can find those bottles at these prices someday! Thanks for the video and cheers!
Raymond Heredia, Thanks for the comment, Me Too! It will be really interesting to try it out, I have a full review of it coming up here in the near future. Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
It's difficult to find the Yamazaki 18 on any retail shelves in Japan. The availability here is usually secondary and runs nearly $700 equivalent. Nice buy.
Laurence, Thanks for the comment, I have been seeing some of the Yama 12 , Hakushu 12, and i think even some 18 , 100 year anniversary show up this side of the world, but they are $$$$, and go quick. You think they are worth it? Have a great rest of your day Cheers!
How many bottles of Yamazaki 18 do you think they had? Noticed it was in display case, so pay and pick up at merchandise location, so couldn’t tell from the video of their inventory. What time would you recommend someone to start lining up? Thanks.
Jokerman Entertainment, Thanks for the comment, Iam not too sure how many they have , if i had to take a wild guess, i would say maybe 6. For lining up early, I would recommend as early as you are comfortable doing, there were people there since the day before. I hope you have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
@@Whiskey1if one lined up at 0600 would it still have been possible to snag those finds? Don't want to stay all night and don't want to try at 0600 only to be disappointed. Love the videos btw, keep up the entertaining hunts!
@whiskeyloversociety, Thanks for the comment, that seems about right for 2nd hand market, or at liquor stores. Is there place in Europe where they sale whiskey right at MSRP? Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
@dpd2k105 , Thanks for the comment, yea for most of the bottles they had a one bottle limit per bottle, but you could still get one of each. SO still overall a great experience. Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
@DL-fw7xk Thanks for the comment, even better, he was a costco employee bringing out more EHT for the thirsty public! Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
@aaronlambie8096, Thanks for the comment, Based out of SOCAL but this Costco is from AZ. Which is not too far of a drive. I hope you have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
offcamber, Thanks for the comment, I will take this comment at face value. Also, Costco Jammies are the best! I hope you have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
Don Reese, Thanks for the correction, Ill keep this in mind when I bring the location up in future videos. It just feels so natural "queens creek" . Have a great rest of your day, cheers!
At grand openings, bottles disappear quick, which would you grab first and which would you grab last?
Definitley the EHT BP! I wouldn't even bother with the Yamazaki 18.
Yamazaki 18

What are some good Costco’s to go to in the LA Orange County area for allocated style bourbons
At my Costco, Blantons and EH didn't even make it on the shelf.
Great haul! You make me want to get a membership and hunt for grand openings
Oh I want the Yamazaki 18!! Cheers!🥂
It's not fair that Costco gets so many bottles of Buffalo Trace distillery products. I live in a state controlled liquor state, and our stores rarely get any BT products!

The average for the Yamazaki 18 in Europe is now € 1393.42. Cheapest I could find was €659
@whiskeyloversociety, Thanks for the comment, that seems about right for 2nd hand market, or at liquor stores. Is there place in Europe where they sale whiskey right at MSRP? Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
Do they have purchase limits on these allocated bottles?
@dpd2k105 , Thanks for the comment, yea for most of the bottles they had a one bottle limit per bottle, but you could still get one of each. SO still overall a great experience. Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
Was that someone buying an entire shopping cart of EHT barrel proof?
@DL-fw7xk Thanks for the comment, even better, he was a costco employee bringing out more EHT for the thirsty public! Have a great rest of your day, Cheers!
As a PhD go for the top!!
If i saw that price at $279, i would have bought a case.
What state are you located

Man those prices on Eagle Rare and Blanton's is ridiculous
Indianapolis is a flat out joke when it cones to the finding the good bottles.
C O S T C O jammies !
Thanks for not drinking from a Glencairn
