OptiBoost for cut flowers - Increasing sales and reducing waste of cut flowers in retail

OptiBoost is based on Vacuum Infusion (VI). It is a technique with which external liquids can be introduced into porous structures such as plant tissue. By exposing the flowers to a vacuum we “boost” them with a nano-based nutrient solution.
OptiBoost can be used at any time following harvest, whether it be on the farm, at the wholesaler’s facility, or in the market itself. This makes the technology very adaptable to different steps of the supply chain, as roses can be treated before freighting overseas, upon unpacking at the stores, etc.
