The only thing missing from this video is a couple Ricky Gervais-style quips about celebrities.

So many different kinds of things we value. Awards, sentimental, food and shelter stuff (most valuable) and also money. Money is really peculiar because it is only valuable as long as we collectively agree that it's valuable

This is pretty much exactly what most people think of award ceremonies. I haven't willingly watched an award show ever in my life. But have seen quite a few which gives everyone an idea how much control over my life I actually don't have.
