WaffoMan And, in my opinion more important than that, it's not a perfect "No damage or restricted" battle that aims to show off looping or something. Battles like this actually show off the bosses rather then the players and I find that more important than...well, just showing off.
Its a shame if xemnas and the organization didn't want to destroy everything in their path maybe sora would help them out I would hate to see someone without a soul

Gotta give Ansem props. He survived the first game he was in so he could go try and possess Riku again and carry out what he had initially planned. He also took them both on, and ended up being killed by the darkness he sowed within Riku.
The very menacing thing about Xemnas is that you don't really know if he's going to attack or guard. I would literally stand still while he menacingly walks towards you and try to block his attack; only he doesn't attack and continues to walk towards you.

Anyone else think that data Xemnas's first faze is the easiest data fight? Strange, as I think his second faze is the hardest. Like someone gives you a slice of cake, and slaps you every time you try to take a bite.
Idk. I got a game over when riku died during riku rescuing sora. It happened to me twice in that same spot. You only take 1 or more hits before getting a game over based on his hp. Once that happens, you will respawn at the place before taking on xemnas first phase so yes you have to replay the 1st stage once you get a game over
I've just noticed that in the first battle, Xemnas' attack patterns are very similar to the ones in Dream Drop Distance, the difference is that in DDD, his attacks are way faster.

I was around Lv90. As for abilities. You can equip whichever one you want, but I highly recommend "Auto Limit" "Once More & Second Chance" "Counter Guard" and "Item Boost."

Although it's nice you can change into Limit form. I need to work on my guarding skills as that's what's really holding me back from doing so well on Critical. Watched some dude fight Lingering Will with no damage on level 1 critical plus. Made me sick LOL. So, if he can do that, I can definitely do it on critical plus with a level 62 character. Just takes timing and patience. Understanding the battle system and knowing your enemy and when to guard is key. Like I said, this is where I fail. Time to devote more time to this game. : )
He doesn't. He actually has a standard healing spell that he can use on himself and other party members that does rely on MP, it simply uses the same animation is if he were indeed using an item.
I just can't defeat his second form... just can't. Its pissing me off cause his the last one of the Org 13. If I beat him I get my second crown then I'll face Lingering Will... but its pissing me off.

So after I beat Lingering Will and watch the secret ending 2 I'm gonna watch the 258/2 days movie and play BBS. Then there will be left 3D's and KH3 that's coming out. And yes... he's a pain the ass! but I think I found a method to beat him... the "jump and attack" method... I'm gonna try that out since the normal one ain't working.
Michael Busic He probably knows that. You're right that it's great to use, but it's also kind of cheap and OP. A lot of people choose not to use it for boss battles like this to make it more challenging.

What defense do you need to have for xemnas to do that little damage I fought him and one attack takes half my hp
Using the kingdom key reduces critical damage by about half I believe. And in these fights it’s safe to assume every hit is a critical hit lol

Honestly this looks so much easier than critical mode when I fight Data Xemans on the PCSX2 (PS2 Emulator for PC)
When fighting Data Xemans he is so much harder on Critical. That move where he throws you in the air almost always kills you.

Dude. You'd have a much better time fighting him if you would use reflect magic. It does MASSIVE damage. Especially when he does that "guard" attack.
