@@chapiecatoh then you will love going about 5km above the battlefield in a tornado GR.1 then launching 4 PGM 500’s because they’re so slow that you can hard to base, look back and just watch hell fall upon your chosen targets
watching a AA20 pull 50g like a r73 is probably more satisfying

Irl these missiles are essentially FPV-drones. They get guided in manually from a screen in the craft (that's what the datalink pod is for).

a fun thing that you could do is maybe go to the replays and show how fast the missiles where going and their path that they took using the new feature.

Once again fantastic kills, fantastic flying, and overall another banger of a CAS video to sit back and watch while playing Carrier Command 2. I'd love to see how you'd do in CC2 as well, considering most of the aerial vehicles fly like WTs Sim mode, with a bit of arcade performances.

@@Hunter_i86 It's best when played with a small group. Each carrier can operate with 2 people, one on drones the other on ship defenses. Otherwise the game is amazing, playing Solo certainly gives a unique challenge.

I tried to make it in top tier, against Pantsir S1 from more than 20km distance, it was awful experience for two main reasons:
1- UK and USSR in the same team a lot
2- When USSR is the enemy, Pantsir S1 intercept all 3 missiles easily.

Grinding this jet in air RB is such a pain in the ass, still not sure if I am going to use this over the GR1.A for my 10.3 Britain lineup

I love the older one more to be honest, will explain my reasons in a coming video. The only good thing on the new one is staying on screen when engaging multiple targets, they could just add this new feature to the previous sight.

No, that little cross is an additional way for canceling the lock if you get it out of the box.

No way! it is a huge missile! I think you are missing, get closer to 7km and lock your targets I would say, firing in point mode needs from you to be really picky, picking the static targets only.

You can't "point aim" with tv guided missiles anymore, right? What I don't get it is why sometimes you can't lock from 5km but in another time you lock from more than 10km. What is the reasoning behind it? Do you know?
I noticed the kh29T is really bad now. It just doesn't lock in a reasonable range.
Alright, I get it. The new sight is not very good, you suffer with point lock, you need to press Lock Weapon Air To Ground button multiple times, or HOLD fire button and the missile will acquire\lock\launch fast, and for the locking range it depends on the size of the target, TV weapons like big targets, the bigger the target the higher lock range you will get.
I prefer the old sight more, it was even more realistic\historical.
Is it worth to grind for?
NO
Well if you're playing ground RB, and you don't mind constantly getting killed by CAS which you can do nothing against, and the whole time you also have to worry about ATGM's that, once again, you can do almost nothing against, then sure it's worth it.
i just got it yesterday, but tbf i had all the planes around it so it was simple for me, it's good but the missiles are not always reliable like in this video, and gl if there are other planes in the air that have guns lol

yeah it should be hud/rwr_threat_sam, in the files. Placeholder I would say, "SAM" word is enough.
Should I stick to 10.0 us or add the Abrams and little bird and a10 to bring me up to 10.3?
Why stick? go to 10.7 with Ah-1W, M1 Abrams and A-10 Late.
How do you get the acquire mode on the TV ATGMs? I got it once but never again, also does it apply for IR ATGMs?
Pressing once or sometimes twice Lock Weapon Air To Ground button will "acq" blinking, then when a target enters the track range of the missile it will be locked automatically.
