I just tried it today on my lunch drive to walk my dog, I set it on Average not aggressive and it drove very similar to me. Only fault it tried to take the turn lane into Canadian Tire which was very well marked and about 100 meters from the traffic light it was to move into the left turn lane to make the turn. Funny I disengaged it making a right turn at a traffic lights that the right lane had a green arrow, and I had a red, it has seen the pedestrian that was waiting for the walk light which did engage. Good on you Tesla!

I have not noticed more nags. Maybe your eyes were spending too much time looking at the screen.
You did not time out the nag. I'll bet you applied just a tad too much torque to the wheel. It's very easy to do. I use the scroll wheel instead of the wheel to clear the nags.
Try keeping just 1 hand on the wheel lightly. Sometimes both hands will cancel each other out.

I can give 90% certainty that it was due to his cap obscuring eye detection by interior camera

Sometimes FSD does really well, but I finally figured out what is the worst scenario. It doesn't recognize at all the yellow/orange speed suggested warnings for a curve up ahead. We have a lot of those 1-lane roads here in suburbs NY (ex. Rte 6). So my Y/LR was going 47mph in 45MPH zone yesterday (if I let the car decide option it would have been 52mph) and sharp turn ahead sign says 20mph. Does it start slowing down?? Nope...not till nerve-rackingly late. On this road a number of times it braked past the green regen into the gray using actual brakes. Now if you have a car in front to shepherd your car, it does fine since that human slows ahead of time (but plain Autopilot does that too). Tesla needs to add registering those curve ahead speed warning signs to make it true FSD.

Nice trip! So my trip #3 was a short hop home from the grocery store. I reset the options to NOT allow the car to decide the speed and instead set it to relative 5% and +3mph in Chill mode. Thus it did only 32mph instead of the 30 speed limit and didn't accelerate quite so hard after a stop. The road is 1 lane each way with a wide paved shoulder delineated with a solid white stripe. A guy in front of me was stopped making a left into a store, and the car smoothly went to the shoulder and passed him (exactly as I and others do). Nice! BUT, when I got home and the car stopped at the curb, I pressed END TRIP, and when I stepped on the accelerator it took off still in FSD. I put a report that pressing end trip should end FSD, or at least have an option for that since it is unexpected for the car to suddenly accelerate when the trip is over (and I was going to go up my driveway).

Join me in insisting that Panda Express go back to their previous formulation of chow mein, and even more importantly bring back their hot and sour soup. Being a grandpa, I don't find FSD supervised to be overly cautious. Works really well, in my view. I haven't noticed more nags. Wonder why it was bugging you. Of course, I tend to hold the wheel in a slightly resisted position. It nags if I don't change from left to right often enough, an annoyance.
