we remove dirt from the lake with such a motor pump. We only use the Bagermaster suction nozzle. In combination with a high-pressure motor pump, we get a full-fledged mini dredger

I have the 2inch predator trash pump and it is a pain to prime. I got it as a backup in case I need to haul water from the creek in the event the power is out or the well goes out. But with my tank setup I usually just screw a water hose into the priming port and pump water into it while it's running. It makes it prime faster. I think the pumps on the predator just aren't quite as tight so they're just finicky. But once primed they work great. I take my pump housing off before storing and dry it out. Because there's steel inside that will rust out.

Thanks for the info, I will tel Jeremy. Yes the priming was a mess! Our in the middle of the woods, using buckets;) it works like a champ though!!

From my own experience... buy a 2 inch foot valve to put on the end of your intake hose instead of the screen it came with. Fill the intake hose with water before attaching it to the pump. Attach it to the pump. Fill the prime hole with water, start the motor and you have instant flow. Saves a tremendous amount of aggravation priming the pump.

That's awesome, hopefully you'll be successful in recovering the fish.
it'll be nice to see how big the fish are and what all kinds there actually are in there.
I'm curious how you're going to fill it back up once you get it evacuated and the water has drained and moved all the way across the property. I know you have a plan for that but I just can't wait to see it.
Thanks for sharing Chrissy, Jeremy, Preston and Parker.
Stay happy healthy hydrated and safe. And may God continue to bless you and your family.

You could have just siphoned it i guess. The elevation of discharge area is low than water level.
