Two Person Public Land Limit - Pheasant Hunting

Not to often you get a TWO Person Public Land Limit in one spot - there were plenty more roosters in the field and some were even flying out after we left. Great to see these numbers

Just found your channel. Nice work! Good to see others taking it to 'em on public land.
Maybe you're aware of this, but just in case....you have a noticeable tendency to get ahead of a bird & stop your swing. But whatever. You seem to put them in the vest regardless.

@@flushemndustem yeah, I'll bet you do.🤣 Anyhow, you could try consciously increasing your swing speed just as you pull the trigger. It works for some people & can become 2nd nature if practiced.

I once took an 80-yd shot at a fleeing rooster only to see it sail over the road and tumble down onto the dry river bed on the other side. I thought I made a lucky shot but when I reached the bird, it's head was about 10 feet away from its body. He flew into the power line and got decapitated!
