I appreciate you sharing this video. I have some short ribs that I need to cook ASAP (without time for marinating or braising). So this method will work perfectly! You rock =)
I would season both sides and let sit a little bit before cooking. I would also use cast iron. I'm glad to find a recipe that doesn't involve marinade. I'll be making these tonight.
Hi Friend, I love these little ribs. I have baked them with a teriyaki sauce which comes out similar to the Hawaiian BBQ style. Here is the link. ruclips.net/video/EGmrRJ1sizQ/видео.html Yes, we definitely need options when it's cold outside. Thank you for the visit!
Hi Friend, beef cook time is an individual preference. I have had people tell me that these beef ribs look overcooked. I know some people who like their steak rare. I personally like my beef medium well done. There are meat thermometers to help check the temperature of the meat. For Beef, the Internal temp should be: Rare - 120 F Medium - 140 F Well done - 160 F. Honestly you should get yourself a meat thermometer. They really help, especially when cooking chicken. Thanks for watching!
Sticking a meat thermometer in a centimeter wide piece of meat isn’t very accurate. For those who want some guidance since she won’t give any I took a shot at it last night. If you want the crispness she got but don’t want to overcook I managed this and steak was med rare on inside. Put it on high until oil is nice and hot( takes about 5 mins) Turn down to medium and put steak on for 3 minutes. Flip and do two more minutes. Turn heat back up to high and do 1 more minute. This gave me a look like hers on outside but med-rare inside.
Amazing 1 minute per side medium heat flip 30 seconds each side done How would i cook sirloin or rib eye this way okease reply thank you..how long On each side for the steaks for rare. And same medium temp pan so it doesnt smoke up apt ?? Thank you so simple please tell me .thank you
I found this...For a medium-rare steak, place the ribeye on the grill and cook the meat for about two to two and a half minutes on one side. Rotate the meat 45 degrees and continue cooking for two minutes. Flip the meat over and let cook for four minutes on the other side. I personally have not cooked a rib eye steak. Do keep in mind that there are always different variables. How thick is your steak, each burner will cook at a different heat, the thickness of your pan. Sometimes it's just hit-and-miss. Practice, I goofed up a lot of meals until I started getting the hang of cooking. I still goof up sometimes....forget to add an ingredient. Practice , practice good luck David.
Instructions Take steak out of the fridge 20-30 min before cooking. Rub steak with olive oil and season generously with salt & pepper. Heat pan over high heat until smoke starts coming off the pan. Place steak on the pan and cook for roughly 6 minutes, flipping every 90 seconds. Saw this on-line. The flanken ribs are very thin compared to most rib eye and steak cuts. Times will vary. I know you'll make some great steaks with practice. I personally haven't make a rib eye ...yet. Good luck David.
@@RosieCooks thank you.have to use very hot pan a little butter rub.under high brouler in oven..no windows no stove fan.the apt alwsys already smell like a steakhouse, haha,i eat steak daily.thanks mucho
Hi friend, at about the 1:55 minutes it flashes on the screen medium heat. Easy to miss. This is a recipe that is according to your personal preference. I just cook it on a medium heat until the meat is seared. Then flip.
Hi Friend, when it comes to beef, it really depends on how you personally like your steak cooked. I like my steak/beef cooked medium well done. If you like a little pink inside, you cook it less. It's really an eyeball thing. I know that doesn't really answer your question, but that's the best answer I can give you. TFW!
Mine never turns out like yours. Im timing yours. Maybe 2 minutes a side on medium then a 30 second sear a bit higher. .nope gotta go much longer . What am i doing wrong.i would appreciate a reply thank you
Hi David, the video is edited and not true to time. Keep it on a medium heat. Cook until red juices are coming to the surface. Flip over, then keep on cooking it until most of the juices are gone. Don't overcook it. Then raise the heat and let it sear for about 60 to 90 seconds. Just until it gets a slight sear brown color. Good luck.
P.s.,i have same pan as you so above medium 5 on the setting.they smoke up apt.and are dry over cooked rib eye, sirloin, chuck eye..etc.i want them perfectly rare ..yiu know EXACTLY. Please reply thank you.much love
Hi Ashley, In the video I said it was olive oil, but really you can use any cooking oil of your choice. They come out good and this method is so much easier than putting them on an outside grill. Thank you so much for paying me a visit!

Awesome ribs 💗
Guys I think you need to seer the ribs
I think you mean sear (char) the ribs. To seer the ribs would be to foretell the future.
sear
my ribs came out raw and i got explosive diarrhea because i insisted they weren't raw
I don't think you followed the directions correctly.
