Holy cow I really didn’t even know about that show. My sister-in-law does make up for the hallmark movies. I might’ve intentionally turned a blind eye to that island fact.

I have to disagree about the coffee. French Press is the best coffee in QB. The Farmer’s Market is one of the best and very popular. It goes all year round. QB does not have any chains. No KFC, McDonald’s etc. (a plus in my opinion). Parksville is 10 km away and they have all that. We have a great off leash dog park with loads of trails. I live in downtown QB and everything is very walkable. My doc, dentist, massage therapist and acupuncturist is all a 5-10 minute walk away.
I loved your Video but just like a typical man, 😊 you failed to mention the shopping ; are there stores, grocery or otherwise; are there barbers and hair salons, spas , theatres , schools,what is winter like.. etc. or have you made another video about all the other stuff.. just curious.
We forgot to stop at the beach during our visit to the island last month, to see how noisy it was on the beach. The highway is very close; is it too loud?

There’s Aries you can go where the highway is not as close. It’s a good idea to go down judges Road to get there.
