- Nazeer Akbarabadi (Urdu: نظیر اکبر آبادی - Naẓīr Akbar Ābādī) (real name "Wali Muhammad") (1735-1830) was an 18th-century Indian poet known as "Father of Nazm", who wrote Urdu ghazals and nazms under nom de plume (takhallus) "Nazeer", most remembered for his poems like Banjaranama (Chronicle of the Nomad), a satire.[1] His father was Muhammad Farooq and his mother was the daughter of Nawab Sultan Khan who was the governor of Agra Fort. Agra, the Indian city, was known as Akbarabad after Mughal emperor Akbar at that time. He used simple, everyday language in his poems, which made them popular in the masses.

kya baat hai. Dil khush ho gaya!! It is sad the way these two communities are being polarised now. Have heard from many olden accounts how people, hindus, muslims used to live with love with each other, share and care. Even in pre-independent India, in the parts that are now Pakistan and in parts that are India. What we need is love, sharing and caring and peace will follow automatically.

Beautiful rendition of Hindi poetry...And I don't think that he's imitating Piyush Mishra or anyone.Hindi poetry ki rendition ka ek tareeka hota hai.Agar woh uss tareekey se nehi kahi gayi toh uska mazaa kirkira ho jayega.For eg,just listen to actor Yashpal Sharma's rendition of Gulzar Saab's poems in the play Lakeerein.

we are unfortunate citizens of a sick country where health is deteriorating by the hour .I wonder why such Programmes are not telecast at prime time on Prime channels .I may mention that dhrupad sangeet which is purely of Hindu origin and muslim musicians are the custodians of this ancient art .
