- Today's destination? Medano Pass. This trail has a little of everything. Desert, mountains, water crossings, wildlife, and a few small challenges on the trail. Other videos I have seen just don't do this place justice, so come and see yourself what Medano Pass is all about.

@@MinorCarvajal-no5os you might have to beware of snow that time of year, but I'm sure it will still be beautiful! If you have time and the road is open, you might also want to look up Zapata Falls. It's not far from the Great Sand Dunes National Park side of this trail.
We have done Medano Pass in both directions It is a very fun trail and nice scenery. But rest assured, the sand will cause you problems if you aren’t prepared…..
Definitely. That sand will surprise an unexpecting driver, especially if you don't air down and drive just fast enough to stay afloat. Did you find that you enjoyed going one way over the other after driving it both ways?
