Now that it's been a few days, yes this was for April Fools lol
This was by far the hardest challenge run I've ever attempted, and probably the hardest challenge run anyone has ever attempted in the history of gaming.

have you considered doing this but truly using ONLY the bloodhound fang, even for moving around? you'd have to aim with something like the telescope and then use the L2 to travel, dodge and attack

My brain instantly turned the title into some sort of "no walking or dodging" challenge where the only movement would be the BHF. Then I remembered the date and was like oh. I have the challenge runner brainrot lmao.

I remember when I first used Blood Hound's Fang, my character kept hitting themselves with it instead of hitting the enemy, so I never thought in a million years anyone would be able to actually do a run with that "weapon." Crazy to see what amazing players like you can pull off!

@@EldenRingPlayer-q7c That's fair. I too sometimes use different weapons. Im in my first NG+ rn, I play quality build and I use this as my main weapon.
I think this run shouldn't be counted, he did use the uchigatana at the start. He also used armor, flasks, kukris, etc. This whole run was just a stain on the whole speedrunning community tbh.
Had he truly used ONLY the bloodhound's fang it would have been legendary, as it is one of the most complicated weapons in the game.
What your suggesting is IMPOSSIBLE. You would need millions of hours of practice just to beat Ricks first phase

First i thought it was an April fools joke because no one in their right mind would try such a difficult challenge.
I cant believe it only took 5 thousand hours of routing and practice to pull off this TRIUMPH
New idea: Beating Elden Ring with *ONLY* Bloodhound's Fang. No talismans, no armor, no horse, no upgrades, no items other than those necessary to complete the game (i.e. Rold Medallion (for game completion), as well as Haligtree Medallion and Pureblood Knight Medal (if you do all rememberances))

Nah Star Fists is the hardest one, damage is so low, you'd better off using mere fists
Wrong. Melee builds are simply too easy compared to mage builds. Night comet build obviously requires the most skill.
@@HunterYangBird Nah bro I was joking with Star FIsts, since it's highest dps in the game, outside of Comet Azur in some cases. Night Comet is surely weaker. But overall, yeah, mage builds are easier for newbies, but not fof Chris though

I know this is an april fools video but it's my first soulsgame and so I actually learned a lot. I do use the OP bloodhound fang but I'm having fun so I don't see the issue. I can always do a "real" playthrough the second time.
Always use whatever you have most fun doing, don't worry about whatever other people think. Any playthrough is a real playthrough :)

I may be a gaming prodigy. The first time I played Elden ring, I did this exact challenge. I know, I know, this is hard to believe but I truly did it.
In the middle of a MLGS run myself... I actually staggered Morgot out of his phase transition, rather fun to see him using phase 2 moves without the phase 2 effects.

This would actually be challenging if it was a genuine ONLY bloodhounds fang.
No Runes. No Smithing Stones. No Armor. No Talismans. No Key Items. No Spells. No Incantations. No Consumables. No Healing.
Before you use anything, ask yourself " is this Bloodhounds Fang?" If no, you can't use it.

I’ve avoided watching this video for over 2 years now because I wanted to feel like a good ER player. Now that the DLC humbled me I am here to have Chris humble me. And humble me he did. Congrats on the hardest run in the game.
Hope one day someone from Fromsoft sees this herculean feat of a run and buffs the Bloodhound Fang. Looks like a really fun weapon and would love to see it be more beginner friendly.

Killed Morgott with the BH combo. That skill saved me so many times. Because it can lock on to the enemy.

I just started a Bloodhound fang run. Sadly I had to quit it halfway because its such a bad weapon and now im using the Club. I know its too op, but let me play how I want to play.
On real note the Club is actually pretty fun. Recently got a character to ng+6 and did that playthrough with the club, so if anyone wants to give the club a try do it. If I can beat ng+6 Malenia with it anyone can.
The funny thing is, that in my first playthrough I used the Bloodhound Fang exclusively, but I never knew that the ash of war had a follow up attack.
This is extra funny because yes the weapon is easy but there are so many weapons that are even easier to beat the game with that it's actually kind of believable.

Im on my first playthrough right now and have used Bloodhound's Fang since i got it. Now im alternating between BHF and Rivers Of Blood on a Arcane Samurai build. Bloodhound's Fang is OP as fvck.

Can you beat elden ring with a purple controller vs a white controller? And to make it extra hard use a different charger port to charge your controller just to spice things up.

I just saw a brazilian guy finish elden ring with just bloodhound's fang WITHOUT DYING, bro is a complete menace to society
I watched most of the practice and around hour 200 it seemed like the combined mental and physical strain of the challenge would spell the end of him. Yet the man JUST KEPT GOING and here we are. The man just cannot be stopped.
I've been rocking the bloodhounds fang my entire game lol.
Turns out there’s this new tech where if you backstep while running your character model will rotate. This seems pretty useless, but you’ll actually get i-frames while your character is glitched like this. Being overloaded prevents this from working so none of my builds can do this, but it might be an interest strat to use in future runs!
The first time I ever played elden Ring, I beat it with this bloodhound fang. It will forever be one of my top 3 weapons

Now try this challenge with only the sacred relic sword.
I love bloodhound fang because it is a fairly tall weapon. It literally reaches enemy before enemy reaches you. In addition, you can apply blood loss on enemies and you can instantly dodge after performing “bloodhound finesse” I forget, you may stun enemies with normal attack. It is a fairly flexible weapon for different situations.
yk i got blood hound fang before beating godrick, I then only used the sword for a good portion of my playthrough, I beat every boss i encountered with it until i got to the fire giant. it was then where i switched my weapon, but i got rly far and it was rly good imp

The fight against Margit reminds me of my fight against morgott yesterday because it was just as easy. To be fair it was faar easier then my first attempt because I had to level up for astel only to find out that my newly updated +7 Lhutel the Headless could pretty much solo morgott and Astel with a little bit of help.... Best summon ever

Soo cool, I tryed this run like 5 times bc it looks cool but never did it. This run has restored my faith in humanity as it shows that we can overcome any challenge
