@elcaminodraco it was an upgrade. All the original hardware was plastic, but I found that the older elcamino hardware was metal, and it was the same as the plastic, so I used the metal stuff. Hopefully, the next guy that restores the car ((((when I'm dead and gone. because that's the only way some other guy is getting his hands on it)))) appreciates it lol.

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I had a battle with a bad health problem that has kept me away from my hobbies and social media. I made a video on all the trim but lost most of my footage when I moved to a new shop. If you need any help still I'll try my best to walk you through it.

I bought mine at a little mom and pop bolt company named "SoCal Bolt" in the city of upland CA. I'm sure they do phone orders. As for the other specialty clips I bought them from Dixie restoration online. They have good quality stuff and decent price.
How do I attach the trim on the door that separates the two tone? I have new clips but I can’t figure out how to attach it without bending original trim
I know it feels like you're going to damage it but you gotta give it a good slap with the soft back side of your fist after you kinda hook the top side on the clip. I hope I was able to explain this in a way you can understand. Let me know if that works.
@@jeepadventures909 ok thank you !!! I’ll give it a try! I was thinking I had to set the clips into the trim by sliding them from the side but I couldn’t figure out how to attach it to the car securely that way. I knew the clips had to be attached to the body first . I’ll give it a try !

Need to put the rear corners on first because there's a screw hole behind that long side piece.

Don't use those shitty plastic clips. Use metal clips from a impala. It will snap right in and hold forever.
