When they were getting ready to release Human Nature, I remember some interview with Floor and Marko where Marko was alluding to the vocal difficulty of the new songs and said something like "[Tuomas] writes the way he wants to write." Every time I hear Shoemaker, I think it's an example of what Marko was talking about, and not just because of the ending. From start to finish, this is a seriously difficult song to sing. Of course, you wouldn't necessarily notice that from just casually listening to it, since Floor performs it so expertly both studio and live. She must enjoy a challenge!
Laudato Si ad Astra! Oh Floor, if only you knew how my wife loved that one.. She's up there now, twinkling every time you sing this. So looking forward to hearing this in Amsterdam, Nov 27th. Cheers!
Can't wait for them to release a live audience concert DVD/BR with this song on it. Tuomas creates magic out of thin air, and we are all fortunate he has embraced his gift. Floor is simply HOF!

Perhaps they give some time and air for the thoughts after the covid. Start easily to get back into speed. You know, pandemic, new album w/out supporting tour, Hietala leaving band unexpectidly, Floor’s solo project. A lot has happened in the dynamics of the band. Everything takes time for pieces of puzzle to find their places. Especially within artists. Let’s give some time for the band to settle in. They need a bit of running in after these last two years.
Quality of the video is great, audio quality is terrible. Can barely hear her when the music starts until the second half of the song, not cool cutting off the applause :(
bro, it's obviously a fan video. They are lucky not to get kicked away by security, they obviously can't go ask the sound engineer to plug their jack into the official mix....

But if they're uploading it to youtube as a MUSIC video then the audio needs to at least be reasonable quality, when you can't hear half the song what's the point? It's probably just the quality of the mic isn't good enough for loud music, there's actually some pretty decent recording tech you can get relatively cheap these days (similar to a dictaphone but aimed towards music). But yeah, I wouldn't upload even a fan made music video if I knew people weren't gonna hear half of it.
