I got all the Djinn in the game. Including the last Venus one found on Crossbone Isle. This sword better be worth the trouble, because it looks, like I need to switch everybody to a mono element class in order to use this method.
You don't need to, it's just easier for me to do since most people run that. You just have to make sure you have enough Mars Djinn on whoever you're going to kill it with to make their Mars Power stat (under character status) high enough. If it's too low, (say you put 1 Mars djinn on Issac with 6 other Venus Djinn), the "mars power" stat won't be high enough to warrant an elemental kill. It would still do the 3 '!s' to indicate it was effective, but it doesn't trigger as necessary Djinn kill. I don't recall the formula off hand, but if you're running a 5-2 djinn setup, it should be enough. Using a mars summon during the battle would technically raise it, but then you'd have to incorporate that into your RN counting. As long as you correctly add up the RN used each turn until the Djinn kill you should be fine. I don't know who you have the Mars Djinn set to, but it should be possible with whatever setup you're using. If you let me know who has what Djinn I can figure it out for you. Otherwise make your life easier and swap the Djinn back to default elements.
@@SpineChylz Sadly, it looks like it's a non issue either way. I beat the final boss and saved in town, not knowing that I wouldn't be able to leave afterward. I missed some stuff, like the last 3 rooms of Crossbones Island, so if I want to get that, I'd need to start a brand new game.
Nothing of Value, Wicked Mace is the best item you probably missed at Crossbone Isle. Best weapon for Garet/Mia. Typically if I decide to use it, I put it on Mia with other Cursed Items and the Clerics Ring. Otherwise sell it for gold
@@SpineChylz My Garet is a Samurai who is currently wielding the demonic axe, which is cursed. Was hoping to get the ring for him before transfering. I got the Gaia Blade for Isaac (Ninja), and the Crystal Rod for the water girl. Didn't get the Kikuichimonji for Ivan, though I can probably do without it.
Won't need it in TLA, the second you combine parties, you should have access to better equipment for everyone. Clerics Ring definitely should've been snagged, you can't get it in TLA without transferring. However there's definitely end game equipment that's perfectly fine that isn't cursed. Best cursed item would be Darksword on Garet, but excalibur is technically better, considering the unleash can do insane amounts of damage. Also Demonic Circlet on Jenna, but Berserker Band is just fine. (You could cheat and get the clerics ring before you transfer if you have the ability)
