Love my new treadmill! It was easy to assemble and packed very well. Also impressed with how quiet it is. This will be so helpful as part of my program to reduce my blood pressure!
Thank you for this class. Brought back the good old days when step classes were popular in all the gyms. I don't know who said step isnt in but they're wrong. This gave me a good sweat and it was fun
Thanks for another great workout ladies! You and Karla have helped me loose 20 lbs so far. Your videos are classic, fun and inspirational, keeping me coming back for more. I cant wait for the next video.
Absolutely brilliant you are the best step instructor ever ! Even your stretches at the end are great well done you must of been teaching this for years
Thank you, thank you for posting these videos. I love step and it’s hard to find good classes with the right combination of choreography and sweat. You guys are amazing!!
Love this class thank you so much 😊 here in Germany they don’t have these classes and I do missed them in England at the gym, your class has inspired me to do this at home without getting board 🙏❤️❤️❤️thank you so much, lots of love 💓also I’ve felt so lonely since I came here to Germany 🇩🇪 this workout Video was a life saver in helping me to stay focused and fit. God bless you for helping us stay in shape and focus ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘
Bronwyn, are you planning to do more beginner/intermediate classes or "from home" videos? These have been a life-saver since the pandemic. Your routines and the timing of calling the steps are fantastic! Would love more!
Love this. Thank you for posting. I've been doing it for several months now. I absolutely love step and am excited to find videos in this decade....lol! I see comments about the ads but I actually like the little break because it lets me grab some water in between. I've tried your other work outs as well. I've lost 30 pounds and counting....THANK YOU!
I really enjoy your videos. Since I cancelled my gym membership I have been missing my step class. I purchased a step and found your videos the best so far. Thanks!!!!
I know I'm super late to this party but THANK YOU for this superb workout! I used to do step 1,000 years ago when it was popular and I loved it. But I am rusty and this class is great! I can't thank you enough I had so much fun!💙
Wow just came across you guys. I love step and am excited to start today. I love your traditional way. Look forward to rebuilding my cardio again. Thank you.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication to teach the youtube wold. Would love to see you straighten your arms to long levers during the workouts intead of always bent elbows. I always encouage my students to use longer levers to enhance their workouts. Keep up the work!!!!
I really enjoyed this workout! The instructions where a little hard to hear but with a little patience and practice I got everything. Rewinding a couple of times whenever neccessairy helped as well so in the end I was able to pull off the more challenging traveling parts. Very satisfying!
GREAT class. I’m so missing my turbo step classes that I have been doing for over 20 years but this is a good substitute until my gym opens again. Thank you so much!
enjoyed the workout, Happy to see you break combos down to 32 counts. So many instructors do not. Your Walk the Dog step is also called a K step. keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for your feedback and I'm so glad you enjoyed the workout! There are more Beginner workouts here: ruclips.net/p/PLS8fUPdpJ5ZJYonBe0OqfMiQYb9wM3vub And Beginner to Intermediate here: ruclips.net/p/PLS8fUPdpJ5ZLSzt4F20nc0Sdwg-cHUqw9
My 1st Step Fit with Bronwyn and absolutely loved it. I almost fell over my step a few times but it’s all part of the fun right 🎉. Happy New Week from Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦
Nice class! I learned some new steps helping to keep my mind work out too. I wasn't able to make out a lot of the words you were saying. Also, it can be confusing when you are calling out right foot when you are using your left foot. Especially when trying a new routine. Thanks for doing this workout.
This is a great workout to do at home you don’t even need to go to the gym you can do it at home it makes me sweat to no end it is a good thing 😊👍💪🏽🏋️♀️
Thank you once again. Fun amazing class. You're a life saver !! 2020 does have some silver linings thanks to you Bronwyn ....however I still want to cancel 2020.
Really good class. Perfect as a refresher for me as can't find step classes in the UK any more [other than Les Mills which suck - no choreography]. But, sound really poor and who is your friend who arrives late, then wanders off and peers in the camera? Still good class though, thanks.
Ah-haa! What you call the “down tap(?)” at 9:20 is our stomp. No wonder I was confused. We extend the stomp step out wide with wide arms and a medium bow-down. Karlas stomps were also odd to me because they are 3 and 6 count, vs 4...thereby showing me the need to progress thru multiple full sets on each side to equal a 12 count (3*4). Also your stomp is what we call a chub...done as a pause move while observing the nstructor for the next partial combo sequence. Thank you “B” for another great stepsister vid.
Liked the workout. My only comment is to mirror image left and right. It got a little confusing when you said left I was right as I was facing you. Good choreography........
Nice job! I had to add that on the 'walk the dog'? I have a step I call stutter step - push, push, push, rock back. Stutter with direction is what I call your 'walk the dog' and then I have stutter with a knee - push, push, knee up, knee down, switch direction - you can teach it in place or make it walk the dog with a knee and that one will change the lead.
I love this workout. So sad the original steps classes have changed to a different type of steps. Much less fun! I came to RUclips to find some "old school" steps classes. I will continue to do yours, but find it very hard to hear your instructions over the music. It makes it hard to know which step is coming up and therefore much harder to follow. Perhaps it works better with headphones. Will try next time. Are there any videos of yours in which the acoustics is better? Thanks for the fun!
Thank you for the feedback. If you go to ‘Playlists’ at the top of the channel you’ll see many more options, a lot of why are easier to follow. Check some of these out: ruclips.net/p/PLS8fUPdpJ5ZLSzt4F20nc0Sdwg-cHUqw9&si=IIRCgtIeDw0rgq1F
You are the best teacher I've found on all of my internet searches for step classes! Unfortunately the right and left are backwards on my screen so that it is confusing when going fast. Also I can't hear you and I am late picking up the cues and it's SO frustrating! If you could work it out, I would pay for your teaching!!! Do you have any other classes, live stream or otherwise?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out. I don’t live stream at this point just because my schedule is so random with kids, etc. I would like to understand how the right and left are backwards on your screen. Is it because you are used to the instructor facing you? I did notice recently that my mic needs to be turned up so I will definitely make that adjustment😊
@@StepFitwithBronwyn It was only on the one video when you were facing the front that I had a problwm. The other videos were fine when your back was on the screen. Hope I'm making sense!
I love your lessons too🙂 Yours explications are really gord and clear’ ,we havé enough Time to learn thé choreographie/steps. I am German ,living in France, but Step language Iis international.. Your are from United States? Thank you and have a nice day 😃
Hello, this routine is great however it seems to be heavy on one side, do we supposed to do this routine two days one day on the right side and other day on the left one to balance it out? Thank you
I am certified through the American Council on Exercise, Les Mills Body Step, and have an MS in Sports and Rec Management. If you're interested in getting certified I would suggesting looking into ACE and AFAA trainings and exams as they're nationally recognized, at least in the US. Hope this helps!
Hi there, just getting back into step. Really enjoying your videos. My Step that I bought is ok, but would love to know who makes the Step you use in your videos?
I loved the beginning of this workout. When I read beginner moves I thought it would be a good workout to relearn step. Too hard to keep up with. Will come back once I’m more intermediate level.
Thank you for this feedback and I agree that particular video is not totally beginner. My former step partner used to do the titles and descriptions and her step is a bit more advanced so I've updated it to reflect that workout is beginner-intermediate. Thank you!
You have to do it with the other foot, you are left and we are right, because we are in front of you, please try to change, your Choreographie is very good
I use a Les Mills step (but I don’t love to recommend them bc so far they haven’t been responsive at all about providing any sort of discount or incentive for yall to purchase based on a recommendation from this channel👎🏼🤨)
from one step instructor to another - YOU ARE AN AWESOME INSTRUCTOR.
Bronwyn, I absolutely love your videos. you know what you are doing.
Love my new treadmill! It was easy to assemble and packed very well. Also impressed with how quiet it is. This will be so helpful as part of my program to reduce my blood pressure!

Never thought that a Step workout could become zen like. I’ve added my own challenges to the core choreography…love it!

Thanks you’re so sweet!
I love step classes! I am going back to these routines again, yay!!!
Quarantined for another 30 days and this video might just get me through it! So easy to follow! It’s been 15 years since I stepped!
Very clear enthusiastic coaching! Thank you! I prefer a basic step class to something too complicated!
I’m buying my step today and gonna start working out ! I miss step up class and you are so easy to understand.
I haven’t stepped in 20 years and I miss it. Nobody teaches anymore in my town!
It's definitely faded out quite a bit but I'm trying to bring it back because there are so many people who love it!!!
very nice. super fun. challenging but not impossible - although those mambo chas got me feeling like i had an episode... thank you!

I like the turn step cha cha and float step!!! Doing advanced moves at a basic pace my Knees looooove it woo hoooo!!!!

I think you mean Karla's 6 point push, sometimes called a 6 point mini-mamba. I've heard it called a chug before too.

so FUN!!

Reminds me of my early steps days. My only complaint is the volume when you call moves is very low. I got a great workout!!
Loved this! Step was and still is my fave workout but I cannot find any classes near me. Where are you located?
I love this workout! Can you please tell me what the BPM is on this one? Thank you!
I think this one was around 133.
Hello would you or not recommend me to buy a reebok step? Thank you
Which step platform are you using? I'm looking to buy one!
Good vid. What make of stepper are you using?
Thanks for posting.
Thanks. It's a Les Mill step
Hello, this routine is great however it seems to be heavy on one side, do we supposed to do this routine two days one day on the right side and other day on the left one to balance it out? Thank you
