You are a lifesaver. Not a computer savvy person and spent all morning trying to figure this out with videos on RUclips that explained things I didn’t need to know. Your video was short and concise and actually worked. Going to check back with you in the future if I have any more issues. Well done!!
Thanks a million! For anyone watching just skip straight to the last way to format. It is much easier and simple, and takes no time.
Good that the other were put in in case the others don't work though.
3:10 for ppl
It actually worked. Three different methods, and I seriously underestimated how easy the last method world be. Thanks a ton
watched a few video on how to do this, by far the best one. No pointless chattering that takes up more than half the video before getting to the point, 40 seconds in and the methods start to be shown. Preceise, to the point and straight forward. Also 3 different methods to choose from. Perfect video, why can't all How to videos be like this.
FYI the 3rd method is probably the best for those who are not sure or confident about clicking stuff you're not use to or worry about deleting stuff you should not. Took me 2 mins if that. Cheers fella. Certainly worthy of more subscribers, and today you earned mine.
So helpful. Just what I needed. Quick and clear. Thanks!
Love this video. 3 options. All clear. All clear explanation. This is how all videos should be.
Excellent Tutorial! The program was efficient, light and worked without issues.
This was a real lifesaver for me as I purchased a new USB stick to update my BIOS. Only to find out my motherboard requires a BIOS flash drive to be formatted in FAT32. You really helped me out!
sameeee.
SAME LOL
😎
Three years old and it's still helpful, thank you for this, I'm trying to back up my old wii games onto a flash drive and I don't wanna buy an SD/MicroSD that has the size capacity that I'd need for proper storage of dozens of old Gamecube and Wii games.
I WAS STRUGGLING SO BAD AND YOU SHOWED HOW EASY IT WAS! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Good video Brian. I only have 1 regular USB drive. It's 4 GB and has a copy of Windows 10 on it. For external storage I have 2 1TB NVMe M.2 drives in external cases plugged into the rear USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports. They're super fast and great for doing daily backups.
Thanks for watching, hope you are staying safe.
@@Britec09 I'm a professional writer. That's means I almost never leave the house, and I hate people. 😂 You and yours stay safe and healthy as well.
Thanks so much for this. I successfully changed my 64GB Samsung flash drive to FAT32 and now I can use it in my car's aftermarket sony setup. I was PISSED the hell off when I realized it wasn't just plug and play. Thanks again.
Jamal it doesnt work 4 me..same here samsung 64gigs 3.1...it says fat 32 but in my car access error!? Wtf...
Thank you so much man. Simple and straight forward tutorial. I spent days looking how to do this to my wii games that wouldnt work and this is the only one that worked. Thanks alot man! I was already subbed to you
I had trouble with getting my usb to play Wii games, and the last step helped. Thank you for making quarantine better
For anyone else here for the wii, make sure to make the Allocation unit size 8192 as well
First video I watched to recover my 512GB Flash Drive that is corrupted. Done the provided steps and successfully converted my exFAT Flash Drive to FAT32. Thank you very much!
Possibly one of the greatest videos ever to be made, you sir are a legend.
Thank you for this video, I've been looking all over the internet and this worked right away.
Doin' god's work man!!! I had to learn in the moment what a fat32 was trying to add external storage to a TV. This was way more helpful than anything else on all of the internet. keep the videos coming!
Such a Beautiful tutorial. Easy to follow and straight to the point. This is the definition of NO BS.
Very clear and easy straight to the point ! Thank you sir !!!
The powershell command was so simple, thanks. Ecept it fails saying my drive which is 64GB is too large to format to FAT32. The GUIformat program you linked did the job.
Thank you very much for making this video, I am now able to use my USB drive for music in my car and it works great.
great video. i couldnt update my bios on my motherboard without a fat32 formatted thumb drive and was going to buy a 16 gig for that purpose. thank you for saving me money.
Thank you so much, i cant tell you how stressful it was trying to fix this problem👍
Tysm!! I've spent over an hour tryong to fix my USB. You doing nice work.
Have a nice day, thanks for helping me!
Thanks I'm glad I bumped into this video after an hour 1/2 trying to find a way to format my usb ❤
I cannot stress enough how easy this was. I spent the last hour trying the covert my drive into FAT32, then I came across you. THANK YOU!
For newcomers: the first two methods dont work - it fails, saying the drive size is too large. The third method, however, works like a charm.
@@M7M777777 ^^ this
@@M7M777777 Thanks, was about to try them since I never before, but already knew software was the working method.
Thank you so much for making this tutorial and share the link with us !!!
The third option was the easiest & fastest! I’m not tech savvy at all but I was able to reformat my usb. Thank you for this awesome tutorial! ☺️
Absolutely!!
last method still works quick and easy in 2022! thank you so much for this!
thank you very much because of your video I was able to recover my corrupted USB flash drive. God bless you and your company and family.
Your videos are very informative ,and easy to understand. I like easy so the third option is the way for me.Keep up the good work. Brain.

Thank you so much. Great video I used it and it workes great, just what I needed. keep up the great work.
Straight to 3rd method. Awesome thank you
Cheers dude! I'm in the process of hopefully reinstalling Windows 10 via USB and was getting frustrated with the blue Windows logo and the spinning dots not doing a thing.
I think it was because my USB stick was NTFS. Let's hope this'll work!
Edit: The first 2 options didn't work for me (option 1 said my drive was too big, option 2 didn't seem to understand what I typed, even though I made no errors) but the 3rd option worked SUPERFAST! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
thank you so much, this was super easy to follow and saved me buying other memory cards for my camera
OMG thank you soooo much!! This was super helpful :)
thank you! we need more instruction guides to PC things exactly like this video 😁
Since dislike was removed it's hard to find good tutorials but this actually worked. Third option took less then a minute!
Thank you so much. The last step worked for me. You saved my usb.
That 3rd method was so quick.. Thank you
Very Good. Quick Simple and Understandable
thankyou man seriously ! , this is my first pc build and i didnt know about certain formats for usb so i just went ahead and bought a cruzer glide 3.0 128gb lol then as i watched a how flash bios my heart dropped !
Cheers mate, saved us an evening of stressing over stuff!
your tutorial really helped me, thanks man.
Good timing with this video Brian, I was just about to creat a 64GB Win 10 bootable USB Drive.
You're welcome
@F Maselli none, the reason you would want to do that would be if you wanted to make it compatible with some older devices and such
Will this help me use the full 64gb of my new USB that I just bought? It is from Kingston indeed.
@@Britec09 is last step work for converting exFAT to FAT32 ?reply plz
Does it have to be a 64 gb or can it be a 24 gb?
Worked great. Thanks a bunch!
Thank you, the 3rd options worked for me :)
Thank you loads!! the last method solved my problem in a blink
Thank you your FAT32 program works in your description!
Thank you very much! the easy method worked perfect
THANK YOU! 3rd option works perfect.
Super thank you!!!
I tried to do the 1st method but it failed, 3rd method worked like a charm!
first two don't seem to work for anyone
Life saver never had to deal with this kind of problem . Old ish flat tv and dvbt's don't recognize exfat at 64gb while the 32's same manufactor same model different capacity has fat32 as default with another absurd fact that the formatting option for 64's has no choice to select for fat32 . Cheers . Thanks for advertising the simple usable formatting tool .
Directo y al grano, me funcionó el 3er método...
Aquí si funciona ese método, tome su buen like hombre...
Great work man its saved me lots of hassle thanks 😊
100% success on last method!! 128GB usb drive confirmed-!! awesome thanks a lot!!! :D
Thanks ...your preferred method is just exactly what i need
Great work, men. You´re the best!
Great program and simple! Thanks!
Yes . it worked . Just to mention I had to slow format so it worked for my 64gb usb sick.
Thanks
thank you so much for this! i couldn't find any other way to reformat my usb drives
Last method worked! THANK YOU!!
Thank you so much! Without your video, I will not be able to format my 120gb usb !
That was fast. Thanks for your tips and especially your fat 32
Thanks, I did the first method as you explained, blah, going to take hours... Should have waited... Glad it's going to work though.
amazing the last one was the only one that worked! Thanks!!!
Thanks. clear like water. waiting for next video.
The last way is SO easy! Thank you!
Thank you so much needed this to sort out a poxy chromebook for a friend.
thanks! Before this video, I had converted it to exFAT not knowing that that was NOT FAT32...using any method did not work. I had to go back and convert it back to NTFS then used the last method and it worked...
Worth giving a go,alternative to Rufus & other similar software tools.
Works great on the 3rd method
Many Thanks
thanks man, awesome video and actual free software!!! recommend this for sure
thanks brother! its really helpful!
GUI format worked .. thank you 🤠
LIfe saver for any DJ who uses USB sticks larger than 32GB via Windows & rekordbox (Pioneer CDJs + mixers). Cheers mate!
Thank you for this! this fixed my issue.
Very helpful. Thank you!
The program worked! Thanks so much!
Exactly what I needed, thank you! Used this to get a very large USB stick to work in my car **edit** it is a 512gb drive. Works despite manufacturer's limit being 32gb

Heh, that's awsome 🎉
Thank you so much. Just subscribed
Thank u mate this helped out alot because I needed this format because my wii only supports FAT32
Thanks for this video! On a Samsung 256 GB FIT: first I tried the software, got an error that the drive was in use by another process, I rebooted, same error. Then I used dos prompt, 99% formatted followed by 'cannot complete, drive too big for fat32". Then tried the software again, this time it worked and formatted it in seconds.
you absolute g, been trying for ages
wow your a god..been troubling for more than an hour how to format it for FAT32 cuz it cant play the music on stereo says error 23 but thanks to this video..i hope it can also play the videos but if not ur still a god for doing this video and i recommend step 3 very easy guys!!!!
Good Job:Thanks Brian.
Amazing guide thank you!
I couldn't get method 1 or 2 to work with my 64GB USB. The third option using downloaded software was free, quick and easy. I was so impressed I made a small pay pal donation to the software developer.
I cannot see the software to download. Can you please provide the url. Thanks
Super helpful, thank you!
Absolutely brilliant video! Thank you so much, just saved me from having to buy another flash drive haha!
Thank you man this is very helpful
Thanks man the third one worked with me
