The first 30-40 minutes are pretty much great and you can sense it's a Sam Raimi movie (the horror elements he made in Evil Dead trilogy are there, the New York-esque feeling from Spiderman's action sequences are there) however..... you can feel it was rushed, they gave Raimi the same problems as Spiderman 3

Yeah, in my sincere opinion the top goes this way:
OG Spiderman 1-2 >>> Dr Srange 2 = Spiderman 3 > 90% of MCU (except Ironman 1, Cap 2, Moonknight, those are masterpieces)
@@AccessBlockbusters watching the Illuminati debut on screen felt the same as watching Venom's first live action appearence in SM3: you feel the hype of seeing them, you think this was the best thing ever in the movie.... and then they are wasted so wacky. Both Venom and the Illuminati shouldnt have been underused that much

Yeah - I think the difference for me at least is that Venom was supposed to be integral per Sony’s request whereas I don’t think the Illuminati weren’t ever meant to be a big part of the film
As a Multiverse film I am close to liking it alot. But as a Sam Raimi film I absolutely adore it and love the Raminess of it. Feel like they told Sam Raimi to just go all out with the camera. This and Eternals are my guilty pleasure post Endgame MCU films I get ehy they're disliked but I absolutely love them
