Bought the PSB 680RE on offer and with discount code for £27.00 from Been & Queued.. Brilliant drill.. Light.. Powerful.. Drilled and screwed hundreds of decking screws without missing a beat and a lot of brickwork holes. Much quicker and quieter than my old British built Black & Decker.. 10/10...
a great drill but they have stopped producing the one with the lock button for tightening the chuck. the chucks are now a two part tightening system that you twist with both hands and it is absolutely useless, the drill bits just come loose because you cannot tighten the chuck enough unless you put it in a vice and use gas pliers.

Could someone please explain how the chuck jaws tighten around the bit on this drill? I've never seen this system before.
So that adjustable speed on the 700 isn't to do with using it as a screwdriver then?
