It´s a shame that 2 of the 3 clear penalties suffered by the USSR (and that the referee did not indicate) do not appear here. The takedown of Shengelia does appear, but not the 2 clear hands of Brazilian defenders inside the area in the second half.
@@valeriotio-mj8qi If you think you're bothering me by writing the verb cry, all you're doing is making it clear that you're a child. Apart from that, goals always count the same, even to teams systematically helped by referees, like Brazil during the Havelange era.
the USSR national team should have won this game outright. Two unassigned clean penalties in favor of the USSR and a clean goal by Ramaz Shengelia. Castillo, who refereeed that game, was suspended by FIFA for biased refereeing. +++I have a question for the creators of this video - why is there not a word about this flagrant injustice?

no criticism can be silent when two clean penalties are not awarded in one match, a clean goal is not counted, and all in favor of one of the teams. And in the case of unbiased refereeing, there would be no accident in the defeat of the Brazilians. In 1980, with the same squad, they lost to the "one and a half" line-up of the USSR national team (without Blokhin, Shengelia and other stars) 1:2 at Marakana stadium. And in the match with Italy at the 1982 World Cup, they conceded 4 goals, one of which was unfairly not counted. The Brazilians had great players, but as a team they were losing already then to the Europeans in team playing level.
@@goodman5568 It seems that with your answer you are trying to refute that Brazil was a good team. They could have lost USSR match, of course, they were another great team, I'm not going to argue with that. I don't know what you are getting at, maybe that Europe has always deserved to win all the tournaments?...well you have a problem with 5 cups for Brazil, 3 for Argentina, and 2 for Uruguay. Against Italy they lost playing one of the best games of the World Cups, talking about refereeing mistakes in that game makes no sense.
@@f444nn2 don't quibble. I don't getting at... I only want to make it clear that Brazil, having often the strongest squad in terms of names, did not pay attention to many important aspects of team play and often (and I don’t say that always-!, her 5 golds with them) lost without reaching to the semi-finals. Problems with them are not my fantasies, this is the opinion of many people who understand football. The apotheosis was 2014, when they reached the semi-finals and raked 1:7 from the Germans, adding another 0:3 from the Dutch. And this is with the strongest line of defense in terms of names. After 1970, they won only twice, although with such lineups it was possible to win more often))
@@goodman5568 Well, If winning two World Cups since 1982, reaching several semifinals and some finals, is not enough, what can we say about the rest of the national teams? As a Spanish I can't agree with you, it's true that defensively Brazil in 1982 was very weak, especially the goalkeeper. But I can't criticize neither the game nor the squad of that team without feeling ashamed.
@@f444nn2 And I don't criticize. I'm just stating, even with some regret. It's always a shame when bright teams don't get what they seem to deserve. From the 1978 to 1990 World Cup they were the most attacking team with the most powerful squad. During the same time, the Argentines have achieved more. And not only thanks to Maradona, but also to the organization of the game. For Spain, by the way, it was also a shame from 1996 to 2004, for the same reason. 2 of my favourite goals ever in 1 game! These 2 and Eder’s and Zico’s against Scotland in the same World Cup! 👌

nonsense

Brazil's weaknesses at the time were goalkeepers and front-line striker Serginho
Goleiro era bom , só falhou nesse jogo mais Waldir Peres era um excelente goleiro.
