@@khimmito I'm dutch mate. And soccer remains one of the most boring sports I've ever seen, been so since the first time I watched it. Stayed so after visiting multiple matches too. Stayed so when the Netherlands reached world finals in 2010. Stayed so when Feyenoord, the club of my city, won the national championship a couple of times and I went celebrating in Rotterdam. I never got the hype for that sport. Outside of that, I don't give a fck about what messi or ronaldo makes, since they've both proven to be assholes without any sense of morality. I don't care about famous people without morals. I care about people that take their responsibilities and know that their fame only means that they're a role model, so they act like it. So, the numbers you're throwing out, no matter how ridiculously high; I'll never be as shallow as to think money - or followers - is everything. But you do you. Messi is the biggest most talented legend soccer has ever seen, and Ronaldo's work ethic is insane; I'm not denying that. I respect their athleticism. Cause I too am a sports fan. But I don't respect them as people tho, since tho their impact is huge, it's a negative impact. Youth striving to be like them grow up to be a shallow, ignorant, greedy and blatant people.
Messi nor Ronaldo should be anyone's role model. Pellé should be neither. Cruyf, now that was actually kind of a good man. But most legends of soccer are assholes, and I consider people placing them next to true role-models like the big three for example, shallow.

I can tell you how mine works. For me, 500 calories burnt = almost 400 grams lost. If Rafa's body worked like mine, and he entered the court wheing 85 kg, taking into account @Walid Assali's 5000 calories estimation + the water loss in sweat + the fact that he relays on sugar for energy rush, not having eaten a big meal before the match, he walked out of it wheing app. 79 kg. But if we also take into account that he is more muscular than I am, and muscle burns faster than fat.. the loss could have been even bigger. So, final conclusion, he may have walked away with about 77 kg.

I lived in US at the time so the match started late at night on Saturday. Being a huge Novak fan, after the 1st set, and a lot of wrecked nerves, I'm ashamed to say that I decided to go to bed and not watch the rest of it. Basically I chickened out of it. Well the next morning when I got up and turned the TV on to see what was the final score, you could imagine my surprise when I saw that the match was still on. I watched the 5th set drama and I think that the excitement of it shortned my life by about 5 years. Bottom line best match ever, something I will never forget.

The best match ever in tennis.

I actually watched the whole thing...again, after 10 years. And it still brings the thrilling emotion!
If I remember correctly a reporter who was present later said that, during the trophy acceptance ceremony, one of them, I think Djokovic, was bleeding from his tennis shoe...

Now after 11 years only one still reigns and this is Djokovic! For tenth time Champion ! He is the only the GOAT !
