      1. Never heard anyone give Marc Jackson credit for GSW development until Lavar was brave enough to speak the truth.
      2. Pippen changed the Bulls fortune..not Phil
      3. GSW won 50+ b4 Kerr then went 40-O when he was out..
      4. Shannon says he is the milli-vinilli of fathers??? idiotic
      5. your panel omits his comments on Watson, Fizzdale and Kidd
yea Lavar knows more about basketball, branding and life then your panel and everyday you speak you expose yourself as house trained employees.. Lavar speaks like a boss and if you dont know the difference than your an employee.

I find it funny they say Lavar is just saying things to get attention but no-one mentions that he is responding to people taking shots at him. Steve Kerr called him the basketball Kardashian (when Lavar never mentioned his name prior to that comment) but like Lavar said everyone is mad at his comments about Luke but noone is taking up for the coaches that just got fired 💯🔥🔥🔥💯

People like who? You know nothing about me. You seem simple minded to begin insults without facts. My point was simply that the Kardashians are considered talentless and they drive a not so savory product. The ball family is driving innovation, entrepreneurship and sports. He isn't always correct but his statement on Luke was accurate. He also raised valid questions on Mark Jackson. He had a team on the rise and then was released, they won the next year under Steve that is true. What else is true is that Mark Jackson didn't get to reap the benefits of his hard work. Happened to Dungy the same way in the NFL. Built a team for someone else to get credit for it the next year when they won it all.

Kerr and Gruden were both recipients of the work of others ie Jackson and Dungy, easily provened is when Walton "coached" them to their best start ever, so there is some truth to his comments.

    • @virtuousoutlaw
      @virtuousoutlaw 6 лет назад +3

Kerr's offensive system is so much more efficient than Jackson's iso heavy one on one post up bs. Walton used Kerr's system and Kerr was still connected to the team. Furthermore, the Warriors were so angry that they weren't given credit for the first championship, they made it a point to destroy the league. Walton did benefit from that mindset during that period.

Kenyon mentioned that Steve Kerr had the benefit of being taught by "the best" Greg Popavich. But keep in mind, Steve Kerr also had Phil Jackson as a coach (arguably the greatest coach ever!). Steve had a lot of examples to learn from, and he is doing an amazing job bringing out the best in his guys, and helping them to maintain a humble perspective.

Mark def got Fd but it did seem that Kerr took them to a different level. But Mark proved he could develop a team. Steve who I love inherited a roster bursting at the seams with talent and potential. He put them in the right system and it worked. And then the organization had such great luck with how Stephs career had played out come his first contract they had flexibility. Barnes being on a rookie deal and the cap going UP.. they were able to open a slot for a max (KD) player that just took them to potential dynasty levels. And the guys that play there love the city and talent of the team so much there willing to sacrifice come contract time. There in a great space and it’s a shame Mark didn’t get to reap some of the benefits of his hard work. The real tragedy here is that he somehow STILL doesn’t have a job. As a Cavalier fan.. I’m from the Land not a bandwagon fan.. I was hoping we’d hire him the year Blatt came in.. even before Lebron was there. I thought he’d do a great job developing Kyrie Wiggins and Tristan. But were in no position to complain because we got a championship and were in a position to have a chance to add another banner within the next 2 weeks here. And it’s not a black white thing I don’t even understand why that was brought up here in the comments.

Marc Jackson did make that team, he handed Steve Kerr a product that was pretty ready to go, but I do think he would have been cancerous to Golden State in these 4 years after Marc Jackson, if Marc would have stayed. One reason he got fired was because of his outspoken beliefs

Kerr, coached them to a 67 win season and a finals victory before Durant got there. Not to mention even while missing some games in the 2016 season (so he doesn’t get credit for all of the 73 wins) he still coached them to finals.
I mean as talented as his four all stars are someone still has to manage their minutes, draw up plays to hide their weakness while exploiting their strengths. Someone has to noticed when to sit a player for a little bit (or a lot) because the play on the floor is flowing better without them in a lineup I mean are we really going to say coaches don’t matter??

Gilbert Nicholas what are you talking about? Steph shoots wide open off of top of the key screens. He definitely has problems when players play physical 1 on 1 and makes even worse decisions when teams double him that's why they do it. Kerr really tbh doesn't do a whole lot for KD, I mean he's arguably the greatest scorer of all time, he doesn't need screens, he doesn't need anything other than a ball. Pointless to double KD, but you saying doesn't matter if there open or not is stupid.

Pobbyy how is he not overrated? Luke Walton as interim head coach led them to the best start in NBA history right? What’s wrong with the Lakers since it’s the coach? Stop with all that. The warriors are not being coached bro. At all. They just playing ball.

Brian Brundage exactly if the warriors were a bunch of scrubs who can't shoot I understand the coaching part but....

Brian Brundage before Kerr got there the were right near the bottom in assists per game, then as when steve Kerr got the job to the offence change because of Kerr, he also realised that the team would have git more success if iggy came if the bench as well as David lee, how many other coaches realise that so early on?

Ramal Ankh You clearly didn't watch the Warriors under Marc Jackson, the offense was just Iso Iso Iso. Kerr completely replaced that offensive system with an efficient system.
