I reckon they expected Joe to completely lose his cool, but instead he thanked Nat for her ‘feedback’ and smiled wide. In other words, Joe is an absolute madlad, and I really want to buy him a beer
And that's precisely why it backfired. If he had reacted emotionally the footage would've been edited to portray him as the "crazy person" and people would be like "geez, her comments weren't nice but the guy's nuts, he shouldn't have applied if he can't take criticism, what did he expect?" So his seemingly unwarranted outburst would've labeled him as "the bad guy". Since he was all calm and sweet the bad guy's label was attributed to the judges.
The fact that they let people who can't sing on the stage to be ridiculed is shocking. Being humiliated in front of people is a horrible trauma and, for some, unbearable. It is psychopathic behaviour and shouldn't be allowed. As Zoe said, people should be protected!
This I know for certain - there was a singing "talent" show and my friend's daughter applied. They asked, almost immediately, who is her vocal coach, how many times a week she works with him. When she replied she doesn't have one, they sent her home. They weren't even interested in how she sings.
Natalia comments were real. I was on the stage and shocked!! She should apologize and make a conversation with Joe Irvine as he went mentally down. This would help and people also would forgive her. She does nice music but when I start to listen immediately thought of that coming to my mind!
@@oneliakruk1293 they were literally friends and took a selfie together backstage at the time of her yelling at him. as of 2020 from what i saw joe irvine still followed her on her personal twitter. this is all staged.
You kidding? Simon was known as a bad guy but he’d never be as rude and disrespectful as Natalia was. Natalia and her husband overstepped the line way too much and I am so glad her career went downhill after this
@@eurovisionalex2558 didn't you just see what the guy said in the videos, joking about how fat the people are. Not rude or disrespectful..he's always rude and disrespectful. He says nonsense things too. He didn't like a perfectly good audition because don't rain on my parade was too upbeat and cheery. Sometimes he doesn't like it because slow songs are boring (yeah tell that to ed sheeran) He made fun of a performance because he didn't like flutes going on about who the heck ever even thought it was a good idea to make them (and that was a good flute audition) He can be an absolute jerk on tv.
I think the difference is that Simon's comments always stemmed from an element of truth. Yes they are things that shouldn't be commented on, but they're true nonetheless. What Nathalia said made absolutely no sense and stemmed more from narcissism than actually being mean. Thinking her husband owned the "singer in a suit" look? You have to be a certain kind of delusional to say stuff like that... that's the difference. Not only were they destroying the guy, they were doing it with complete nonsense that gave the impression that they thought way too high of themselves. I feel, though, that Willie is as responsible as she is for this incident and that to me is the true double standard. Yes, his career is done but he doesn't get as many threats as she does...
But it’s not truth. It really happened and Natalia Kills behaved awfully. No one forced her to give comment like that. I don’t think she also till the end of her life should be hated for but she should apologize at least. www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=11601221
I loved her too and knew well what these shows were like. I had had a friend who was on The Voice Ireland and she was hung out to dry and was all over the tabloids with stories that were not true. I was very aware things were not what they seemed. The music is still there as is her Cruel Youth EP. It was a terrible time to go to her social media seeing the racist comments. She was crucified for it. It wasn't fair.
Well imagine Natalia being presented with the idea of humillating an innocent guy on national tv and the whole internet and agreeing upon that. That's awful anyways
The rug comment that Simon gave is absolutely disgusting. He mocked African culture and nobody cared. Imo that girl was very pretty and her clothes were very nice as well.
Simon gets paid for his verbal sarcasm, but I think it’s high time he DOES need to retire from being a judge. Even Nigel Lythgoe doesn’t say things to contestants on national tv the way Simon does.
@@Celestial_escapeNo it wasn’t but be real, it’s obvious it was some kind of cultural garb, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out and if you do, you need to educate yourself about the world more.
She wasted her own talent, she was probably told to act this way or get kicked off and she chose to act a fool rather than stand her ground. Sometimes the industry tries to make you do some messed up things but it’s ultimately up to you if you want to do it. There are tons of celebrities to turned things down because it just wasn’t right. She obviously chose her career over her morals.
She actually saw my post thanking her for being an inspiration to my art, and she actually followed me and messaged me asking when she’d be able to hear it. She’s so kind and I only wish more people realized this. 😭
@@bichyas3741 I'm not sure what bots have to do with this tbh. Also, many actual celebrities don't even primarily manage their social media accounts. SM managers are employed to manage and monitor and when there's time outside of strategic planning they'll like individual posts, DM, send messages etc. Again, no real effort is even involved in this at all. Image maintenance involves such little effort now.
@Cruel Kills Yes that doesn't surprise me because she's a very minor celebrity. Still requires such little effort for celebrities to connect with fans so is it any wonder quite a few celebrities do it? They need fans to keep their career going hence once their name has been tarnished it becomes even more important.
I always thought Zoe was deluded or smth and was so confused when she said “you asked me to sing a pink song!” I finally realised why and I feel so terrible always thinking her and many others were crazy and bad when really the bad ones was X factor all along😞 #boycottxfactor
I watched the "rant" by Natalia and I couldn't stop myself from thinking, don't the other judges say much worse things all the time? This IS bad but it's really not different from what they usually air on the show. I definitely opened my eyes and stopped watching these shows after seeing your videos. I had an inkling the programs were all faked and exaggerated, but I never imagined just how far they are willing to go, nor how cold, cruel, and manipulative they are behind the scenes. Thanks for all your insight!
I think Simon and Louie both say worse things in the sense that they sometimes comment on people's physical appearance, which is really more vicious than what Natalia said. However, I think what perhaps makes Natalia and her boyfriends comments worse, in a much different way, is how they're both pulling the "Oh, you're just trying to be like me/us" card, which is sooooooooo just cringy and narcissistic. And it wasn't just one comment she made, both she and her boyfriend really laid into him. You can see that even the other judges after awhile were like "damn, guys". Just the same, after all this time, she doesn't deserve all the hate, and Louie and Simon probably shouldn't stood up for her, but again, the whole "you're just copying us, because we're so awesome", when she could've taken it a different direction, like in the form of flattery, it probably would've had the opposite outcome. And for the record, I don't even think the contestant looks like her husband, any more than she looks like Demi Levato. Again, so cringy.
Interesting point BUT Natalia's rant was sustained whereas normally they are quite brief or soundbite-friendly. They are also often portrayed as humourous, but Natalia was deadly serious, and this rant which sounded ridiculous and entitled went on for an uncomfortably long time, whilst the contestant just simpered and cringed in a mild manner, which only made her look even worse. There is as well I think an element of misogyny to it; women are expected to pull people up not tear them down
I think Natalia sometime said that the producers of X Factor asked for her to say those kinda things to Joe, but it backfired when the viewers/audience started cancelling her HARD and they choose to just fire her and Willy for something they asked for her to do. They should have had their back, she would be such a star today :(
@@RosaGarcia-sl7xl Yet you don't think Simon Cowell is a horrible person, you don't search videos where they hate on him nor gang up with internet strangers to bully him, like most of people do with Natalia. And Simon has said way worse things as shown in the video, many unnecessary comments that are clearly coming from a place of hatred and arrogance.
It was the way she said it, the duration and for him to tag team to continue the attack. Usually judges are like pantomimes... a negative review is almost always followed up by a judge that is more positive to balance it out (and for the audience). The ego she has for her limited success was her downfall. How dare this Joe guy a complete nobody in her eyes even be similar to her husband, she took offence and got too personal over it rather than professionally make a statement and leave it as that. I have to admit I haven't heard of either of them - a quick Google search reveals that both has had some (limited) success and had potential to go far - they weren't really at a level to be a judge (really, a contestant on that show could go on to be a bigger star in just a year) and should have been conscious about their media personality objective over their expertise and ego. Not difficult to be likeable and she could have simply said it was too close to the original and not of his own identity. They weren't victims, just weren't able to hide behind the show... after all, NZ has a relatively small population.
If it is scripted the producers are weird I mean calling someone Norman bates and says he looks like he going to go round stabbing people like what the hell
I’m glad you made the video on Natalia Kills. In 2017 she helped me and my family after our home was damaged by a hurricane. She still checks up on me to this date. She’s literally the sweetest and doesn’t deserve the hate she receives today.
I have never seen such a huge mass of people come against someone with raining criticism. The internet is very scary sometimes. I feel very bad for Natalia because at the end of the day she (even in 2022) stil has to deal with the hate. It's all online. One's failure is online. Your X Factor video is still online. It's heartbreaking to see. 😔
Yessssssss Zoe! another great informative video. What goes around will come back around, time is ticking for these sick people.. Stay strong girl 💪 we stand with you ❤️
I feel that reality tv shows like this could be a civil rights case one day because it’s about an abuse of power. Like Zoe said the producers have the job of providing a safe, comfortable environment for the contestants and the contestants have the right to to not be emotionally traumatized and abused
The contestant the Simon Cowell was fatshaming at 4:50 passed away this week. While the cause of death is not official yet, it was most likely suicide. RIP Mandisa
Natalia is super talented and I just wish she hadn’t stooped down to their level. Actions equal consequences. I’m sorry we can’t see her art at any significant level anymore
I think this is a great video. Instead of you going "Hey look at this thing that happened" you focus on "I wonder why this happened? Here are a couple of thoughts of what could probably be the case". It's so incredibly easy nowadays to draw the easiest conclusion about others based on rumors or "that one thing that they said". Love your channel!
It's so gratifying to see you rise above everything you've been through and use your experience in a positive way with dignity and grace. I remember watching you when your xfactor audition came out and knowing that producers without morals had manipulated it. Glad the couldn't break you!
Absolutely disgusting! That particular series in New Zealand was on the verge of being cancelled anyway yet they just had to drag an up and coming star’s career down with them! These shows deserve to be cancelled immediately!!
Thank you so much for the reaction..For me, Being a Judge is a job with great reasponsibility and contestants has their Life in a plate with great opportunity to make or break...Its just sad that sometimes it ruins either of the two...
I wonder how many people were permanently damaged by that show ,, that attack on that man about his eyes omg ,, that's horrific, please come back and continue your channel 🙏🙏🙏
I knew your audition was highly edited and manufactured from the moment I saw it. I’ve been waiting for your come up and exposing ever since. So glad you’re thriving.
As a kiwi I watched this live and as a Natalia Kills fan I couldn't believe what I was witnessing. I could not believe that this was a completely off the cuff comment. That she would see this as something acceptable to say. Always thought it was dodgy.
I always thought there was something strange about Natalia's reaction, her anger was irrational and her criticism made no sense. Willy's comments were just as odd. In one video I sore, paparazzi were recording them at the airport shortly after they were fired and Natalia seems to hint in a round about that the show told her to say that. I hope one day she can some how tell everyone what really happened.
The mistake for them was both going critical. The script is written, they could have told producers they weren't both happy with doing the script "as is" there is some movement by negotiation. You need a good cop, bad cop approach... although it was a mistake for them to both be on the same panel. Cannot be professional if in a relationship. To be fair to Natalia, if he had liked it rather than joined on the same bandwagon the backlash may not have been so bad. But she was hostile and her setup was bad (as was the finale)... people first assumed she was complimenting him, before the speech and later rant. She started off warm, relatively slow and got the audience support (almost singing to a certain degree) although the cheering is probably added in, then became a typical Feminist-like template speech (which is why I think people went more against her than him) very empowering, before splitting into a spiteful rage. You can't do all 3 styles consecutively. The first part was assumed positive, the second part assumed critical but neutral, and the third part was assumed extremely negative. People assume a judge may go negative/critical... but for Joe supporters to get the relief that she is being positive and seeing that progressively get more and more negative was career suicide for her. She went too far. Not very self-aware (and her husband may have distracted this) she should have realised people mistook her feedback and stopped after the second part of her constructive criticism. Which wouldn't have been so bad. She cannot complain that she lost her place on the judging panel when she doubled down using cliches that put her position into disrepute. That was a step too far.
Of course they were both told what to say and what to do - it’s ALL staged! The producers thought it was going to be a great story to create attention but didn’t bank on them playing out the script so well and so believably. Then Natalia and partner got hung out to dry by the programme the second they got bad press over it - again production team didn’t care as it still got them the ratings. The X factor does one thing and one thing only - protects the X factor, and does anything to boost ratings.
I remember doing research about this around a year back and I think she later said it was all staged. It was so sad how the reality tv show producers didnt back her up - I mean I knew they wouldn't. But it just shows you what type of people they are. I feel really sorry for Natalia and her husband.
It was not staged. No one put her in mouth those comments. I was at stage and that was real. If someone even ask you to say cruel things to someone would you do?
@@oneliakruk1293 because they have no morals. These "stars" will use anyone to get what they want. She wanted fame and now she got it for the wrong reasons due to her greed.
Why feel sorry for someone who agreed to bully a contestant and later is presented with consequences? If it was staged - she agreed to it. She could have just say no, fk you I'm going home.
@@archaiahp Pretty sure the contestant was also a paid actor who is also under a contract, meaning he can't speak up either, why? Because they took a selfie backstage after the incident, same clothes, all. So it'd make no sense, if he was so hurt and traumatized then he wouldn't have asked for the picture nor smiled in it.
@@groupie8773 How do you know the pic was taken afterwards? Were you there? Same clothes? You can't see the woman's clothes in the photo. On stage Joe wore a white shirt, tie and a blue jacket. In the photo a blue shirt, no tie and no jacket. Also he didn't smile in the photo.
She still works in the industry (writes for other artists), but it does suck she had to change her name to escape the controversy a bit. Even still she will occasionally receive comments that roast her on the incident.
You give such a balanced review despite all of the hell you've faced, and that says a lot about your character. Keep walking in your truth, we are right behind supporting you ❤
I thought about this as Zoe shared her story of being beat down and then attacked by a pack of hyena judges. Natalia spoke about her experience and why she was so savage: she and other judges were told to be over the top nasty.
Kills tweeted her statement with the caption, "at last! I am relieved that I'm finally able to break the silence". Her message notes, "a lot goes on behind the scenes of a reality TV show and you see isn't always the whole story. The show brought me on to bring my passion, dramatic expression and perspective. I was encouraged to be outspoken and things got out of hand."
Well, once one realise who owns the entertainment industry also owns the manipulative scripted media, it all make sense why they use people's dreams and naivity to make fun of them and mock them to the point of being bullied in front of the whole world just to make more money off of them and leace them scared and humiliated for life.
Thank you for talking about this. I had a hard time believing that Natalia and Willy *actually* felt that way about the performance. It just really seemed to cross the line in a way that wasn't believable
I maybe asking a naive question here. But if Natalia has a gagging order that keeps her from speaking out, I mean, her career and reputation is in tatters and so is her husbands. What have they got to lose by breaking their silence now? If they went public by saying they were made to say those horrible things and a gagging order prevented then from defending themselves. What is the worse that could happen if X Factor sued them? Couldn't be much worse than the aftermath in the first place!
I feel like it would drag this whole thing back into the court of public opion. I have no doubt that the people at X-Factor would be able to PR spin it to make it seem like Natalia and her husband are washed up has-beens making shit up for clout.
Her career isn't actually in tatters. People are told that to make them think that. She's still self producing and releasing music on her own imprint and it's great music.
I'm originally from Cardiff (just down the rd from Caerphilly) J moved to NZ and my bf did X factor NZ and we met Joe. He was so quirky and friendly, lovely guy, he is on the spectrum too (aspegers). X Factor NZ is a bit different here and wasn't too popular. The process was fun, paid for our flights, gave us food etc. My Bf (husband now) has a great voice but they wouldn't let him play guitar and made him sing along to a track that was a few keys higher than his vocals so he struggled but they weren't bad to him, unfortunately he was featured in a brief montage showing contestants that struggled but thats about it. Overall though X factor NZ treated contestants well backstage. I'm not sure what Natalia was thinking saying this but she didn't do herself any favours. I'm sure she is (as most people are) more than the snapshot we saw of her but her comments did go too far although we don't know if she was coaxed into saying this. Either way. Joe did take the comments well but struggled with confidence after that. It was not like he chose his styling so it was a strange thing to say.
I think this is definitely a good path for Zoe to be on. I think doing videos on the shady practices of X factor and ex X factor contestants is the way to go. Have you thought about reaching out and interviewing contestants like the one that was a hooker, abylisa or the one with the obese family?
@@167kinggam most likely not journalistic freedom doesn't exist as a law in bongland and even if she can set up a defense they are gonna burn through her money by flooding her lawyer with mail. She might have a chance if she can prove that it's in the publics best interest to know. Which may not work since the number of contestants is so low and it happens only to a low number of contestants. Then it depends on the judge if it's enough of a concern\danger to the public that it needs to be published. Rn they aren't gonna do shit since she isn't a big enough thorn in their side and any controversy has the chance to backfire hard on them.
I knew a guy I met in a karaoke bar, and I told him that he should audition for American Idol. He told me that he did, but he was turned down. He also told me that there were A LOT of good singers that were turned down. He saw people getting a pass to audition, that couldn't sing. He told me that you actually perform in front of judges that aren't the stars, at first, and then they decide whether or not you can go to the audition in front of the stars. This was back in like 2006 or so. It may be different now, but back then, they told these bad singers that they could sing, just so they could be humiliated. I can't imagine doing that to someone.
How refreshing! I'm enjoying listening to yoyr videos. What a great insight to all this. Basically confirms what we all have started to learn over the last few years. It's terrible
Yeah , how comes some people don’t cares that far worse commends have been uttered by Simon (a white man )? Also , Natalia genuinely apologized . Also , I’m really sorry for your horrible experience on X factor
She was an awful judge. She has no charisma, and assuming the lines were pre-written she executed the delivery very badly. Simon fires childish insults at people... she went to town on accusing a contestant of stealing intellectual property and impersonating her husband. He went on to retaliate implying he could be some serial killer. This is far worse than mocking the obvious appearance of people or saying funny lines pre-written for him as light entertainment no matter how offensive they are. This was a tag-team of half the judging panel deconstructing this guy on stage. She could have been a lot more subtle and knew when to stop stabbing away at him... another judge had to intervene, although this appears largely edited out. I blame producers here and the combo shouldn't be on the same judging panel to prevent this happening.
@@Simon1985_ because usually white men aren’t attacked like this compared a woman of color. It’s apart of our society. People hate Cardi B and Nicki Minaj but no hate videos towers Drake or Kanye West
Natalia Kills’ music basically saved me. Its the reason why i am the way i am today, she has inspired me so so much and i don’t care if people hate her, she must know that she impacted so many people in so many incredible ways, that’s what counts, not the hateful comments from people that don’t even know who she really is. Teddy, thank you so much for everything.

what they did on x factor is disgusting and should be ashamed please always stick up for your self the way you did and get the word out that tv is rigged 💗
Simon also called a Norwegian contestant on World Idol who won during that season "ugly" like sure he did eventually said that wasn't the point of his words, but he straight up called someone ugly to their face and honestly he doesn't look that bad
I'm sure that it was Kurt Nilsen. Someone said that he kind of looked like a hobbit, he did give it back in an interview by saying "I might look like a hobbit, but I'm sure it doesn't matter as long as I can sing" or something similar to that.
I feel like Simon gets away with his comments because although hurtful, they're usually pretty spot on. Natalia's comments were just so weird, it was a suit... a suit! PS 300,000 viewers is pretty good in NZ, at that time our entire population was 4.6 million. To put it into perspective the main daily news bulletin gets about 240,000 viewers each night
I did the same and cheered on when they were booted out. X Factor is damn evil and your channel really gives me a different perspective on reality TV. and I hope to see the time when Simon Cowell gets his due. He is an awful disgusting man.
I remember this story well, and how everyone ridiculed them both for their comments rightfully so, however now knowing that it was most likely a publicity stunt it’s actually made me question the validity of everything. I mean, they can’t be particularly great people to begin with if they actually agreed to say those things on live tv, or very smart for that matter, however maybe they were a little naive to it and didn’t think it would get the enormous backlash that it did. Now they can’t say anything and have to deal with this backlash forever. It’s maddening to me how truly ruthless these shows are; I grew up watching them and laughing at and ridiculing these people alongside the rest of the general public because that’s what the shows were wanting us to do. I think the early 2000s in particular were rife with this kind of stuff, even shows like Snog Marry Avoid, or massive scale stuff like Britney Spears and what she went through. The media really is vile and it’s no wonder so many people suffer from mental health issues to this day.
Exposed them all Zoey!! I have two acquaintance, one in Sweden one in Hungary, one was a opera singer and she was told by the producer to sing something more hype and they give her a rap song, of course she failed and they humiliated her on stage. The other was told to act angry and then they make fun for years and showing it as the worst performance. Do not trust any of this shows
I’d be very interested to see your take on Holly Jervis’s audition. I really did feel bad for that poor girl, her voice wasn’t bad at all, I felt she just needed to learn how to control it better but she became an absolute laughing stock forever!
it makes me feel sick how horrible these people are, when you watch it you would think they're lovely and friendly but they're not! its really odd how you cant just be nice
My favourite part of the Natalia Kills clip is the audience members who cheer when she describes Jo as a “doppelgänger” as though it’s a positive thing 😂
This makes me think of the manipulation that Jo O’Meara was subjected to when she appeared on Celebrity Big Brother. There’s a lot of evidence that so much was edited to make her look like the worst person in the world. I’m glad it has gone down a little bit, but a lot of people in her newer videos still believe all the lies.
She came out later talking about how the producers made her say all this and they created the whole situation. It ruined her career to the extent of a whole stage name.
I remember seeing this on tv, Joe was honestly a pretty okay singer, but he was probably the sweetest guy I've ever seen on tv. He is a simpler guy, he's definitely not the smartest guy in the world. the entire public LOVED Joe and what Nathalia said came so far out of left field. It was honestly the most brutal tv moment I've ever seen
I love how mature you spoke within this video. I agree that she doesn't deserve that kind of hate. She could've said something nicer, but those kinds of threats were too far. I hope she and her husband will be ok.
The X factor are not only ones to manipulate people like this. Yes they ones to point the the big guns at but what you have to remember is this. Simon Cawell also runs Britain’s got talent and American idol. He’s not just the head judge, he runs these shows. So he is the problem
Natalia could have had a great singing career; but I am glad she's at least still big as a songwriter. She recently just wrote on Blackpink's new album. I'm glad she's at least still very active in the industry.
It just gos to show the cancel culture we live in nowadays and how offended everybody gets over nothing, tv shows are staged even the contestants no what they are in for it's been going on for yrs unless ur telling me the people that audition have never watched the show very unlikely. All reality TV is staged not just these competitions and anybody that signs up to do any type of TV show should be aware of that as the companys making the programme are going to portray them how they want to they will edit footage to make it look a certain way it's a brutal business if you're sensitive I wouldn't bother doing it at all. I mean what tlc do is way worse than the X Factor
Natalia Kills was my absolute fav singer growing up. When i heard the news of how she acted on the show, i immediately knew there was something suspicious because it didnt seem like something she would say from all the interviews and concerts I saw from her. It made me so upset seeing people try to cancel her because of this because I knew this wasnt the true Natalia. Im glad she is still singing under the name Cruel Youth. She sounds so pure with this new style and I will support her along the way.
There is this incident with Paula Abdul when one of the contestants where a huge fan of her (rip) . Paula said no dont let her in cuz she is not comfortable BUT production needer her for the views and the poor fan got bullied and the. Found dead in-front of Paula’s house.
Your so incredible beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration to so many including me. You mean so much. You genuine heart and nature is what’s missing in so many people. Adore you ❤️
Honestly, after taking everything into account, I've come to the conclusion it was most likely scripted for her last minute because they wanted to make them (collectively) like the new Simon Cowell, only as a pair. It backfired massively and the contract they signed, which is the case in a lot of up-and-comer situations, probably underpaid them severely and definitely protects them from having to pay out shit if their scripting causes them to pretty much end their careers. The NDA doubles down on it and prevents them from even bringing it to light, although if I was them, and this was the case, I would've taken the fine and done it as publicly as possible as soon as possible as it would've likely been the end of the X-factor, they would've had a strong case in court as the scripting they were told they must follow jeopardized their careers, and they likely would've recovered from this and be leading successful careers right now.
I am glad you made this video about her. I had no idea about any of this, I didn't even think about the fact it could've been staged. I have so much sympathy for her now. I wish everything works out like it's supposed to just like it did for you :)
I met her at the Santa Monica pier a few months after this. Her and her husband aren’t popular in the US so she looked surprised I said hello and took a picture. Truth be told I only knew about her from the memes
I reckon they expected Joe to completely lose his cool, but instead he thanked Nat for her ‘feedback’ and smiled wide. In other words, Joe is an absolute madlad, and I really want to buy him a beer
I think the producers picked the clothes for her to criticize. So in his mind she was talking about xfactors wardrobe.

That's true. The show is awful!
And that's precisely why it backfired. These producers are the type of people who justify their action by saying 'it's not personal, it's business.'.
Theyre clueless assholes
If simon said the same thing as ger people would say "Thats just his personality" "if you can handle it don't audition" ect.
Exactly! The double standard is what pisses me off...
Sometimes he doesn't like it because slow songs are boring (yeah tell that to ed sheeran) He made fun of a performance because he didn't like flutes going on about who the heck ever even thought it was a good idea to make them (and that was a good flute audition)
He can be an absolute jerk on tv.
@@eurovisionalex2558 he made personal comments 10x worse than anything Natalia ever said. Just say you're a misogynist and go.
I remember this was HUGE news a couple of years ago, and I thought Natalia and her husband were awful. Interesting to get a different perspective now.
But it’s not truth. It really happened and Natalia Kills behaved awfully. No one forced her to give comment like that. I don’t think she also till the end of her life should be hated for but she should apologize at least.

Yes. My thoughts too
Or they said "you can play the role of the cutthroat no nonsense judge and everybody loves a bad Guy"
Joe's too nice for that! Don't know him personally but he's from my hometown
There's no excuse for rape threats, if you threaten shit like that then you need to be locked up and punished
@Idk-dj7vh It wasn’t racially motivated. Not many people are used to seeing clothes like that, so he was really just stating the obvious.

Sorry ultimately only herself to blame

That's easy enough for any celebrity to do as online messaging, following etc requires minimal effort. Not uncommon for celebrities at all.
@@Fleckyou911 But you can tell when it’s genuine and sincere and not some random bot

There is as well I think an element of misogyny to it; women are expected to pull people up not tear them down
Thank you so much for speaking out for those who cannot speak ♥ Makes me so sad all the lives ruined and taken by these kinds of shows 😢
I think Natalia sometime said that the producers of X Factor asked for her to say those kinda things to Joe, but it backfired when the viewers/audience started cancelling her HARD and they choose to just fire her and Willy for something they asked for her to do. They should have had their back, she would be such a star today :(

@@oneliakruk1293 they did. She signed the contract and there’s probably consequences if she disobey
@@hanhnhu4653 I still think she's a horrible person for bullying that poor contestant who did nothing to her!!

@@HSdirectioner5 her?
Agreed.

Little bit off topic but Zoe long straight ginger hair looks amazing on you!
She still works in the industry (writes for other artists), but it does suck she had to change her name to escape the controversy a bit. Even still she will occasionally receive comments that roast her on the incident.
Simon Cowell made that girl cry when he said "Do we have a bigger stage this year"
You give such a balanced review despite all of the hell you've faced, and that says a lot about your character.
She's doing just fine making music as Cruel Youth and writing songs for many artists, she was nominated for a Grammy for the writing of Kiss it Better
I remember what happened to you and it broke my heart. Keep smiling............ a 🇨🇦 friend.
It’s not about what you say but how you say it.. and I guess the way Natalia said those things 🥺
I think this is definitely a good path for Zoe to be on. I think doing videos on the shady practices of X factor and ex X factor contestants is the way to go. Have you thought about reaching out and interviewing contestants like the one that was a hooker, abylisa or the one with the obese family?
is she immune to getting sued? Just curious.

Good point about how Simon says whatever he wants and gets away with it
I knew a guy I met in a karaoke bar, and I told him that he should audition for American Idol.

If only there was a wiki where people could leak information about things and stay anonymous

Sorry again Zoe but I just can't resist your videos they are too good!😁😁😁
Had me in the first half 😂😂😂
Everything you said was beautiful and wise
Her voice is so soothing
Everyone needs to stand together the contestants, judges and even people that watches it surly the producers can’t fight everyone.😂
I'm surprised you didn't mentioned she HAVING to change her stage and social media accounts name.... I wonder if you did it to protect her...🤔
Natalia Kills was my absolute fav singer growing up.
Found dead in-front of Paula’s house.
i saw your first audition, I just knew they had told you to sing a pink song, BRAVO to you for not letting this go
Your so incredible beautiful inside and out and such an inspiration to so many including me.
Yknow, as long as your happy, thats all that matters.
that intro send me on an emotional rollercoaster each time 😭😭
