Because she was So naive and she should have signed her name on a picture. And, That's it no special message or advice. That should have been enough for the common fan. I've never sent a Hollywood celebrity a letter and asking them to write me back when they have time to do so. Because, I don't think people in general are that important. I actually remember watching that Thanksgiving Parade from November of 1986 hosted by Rebecca Schaeffer and David Rappaport when it was live on television! I was seven and a half years old at the time and I was already familiar with David Rappaport from the adventure series he starred in at the time called "The Wizard". However, I never watched that show. I only watched commercial promos for it at the time and remembered seeing him and realizing he was a midget. I wasn't familiar with Rebecca Schaeffer at the time, but I just remembered her hosting that parade with David Rappaport. Sadly on July 18 1989, Rebecca would be murdered by Robert Bardo and less than a year later on May 2 1990, David Rappaport took his own life. It's really sad. They both seemed like such wonderful, down to earth people in general!

There is no one that could play her in a movie. She was as real as anyone could be, there was nothing fake about her. Rebecca was completely herself. She was very mature for her age and very aware of things. She had a lot of inner strength and courage to do the things she did at her age. Her life, as short as it was, should be an inspiration to others to pursue there dreams and ambitions. She was very thoughtful of others, maybe too thoughtful and kind.. But that was Rebecca. She once said that life is not a movie, she was right. She also once said, that she thought love will always prevail. I like to think she was right.

It seems as if she's embellishing the story about her concern about fan mail. She was kind of cute, but I did not find RS pretty.
People overcompensate, about assessing looks, because she died so horribly.
    I get it.

    Pam Dawber and Mark Harmon...
Boring as actors, boring as humans.

Pam especially is boring. She got lucky with Mork and Mindy. I have never understood her appeal. She was not a good lead in My Sister Sam. The rest of the cast was good but she lacked what a lead needs. She was not funny and had no charisma.

What do I care. I got the same amount as I did in 1986. I get the same amount, no matter what. Title or no title, still within top 10 in 2019, I speculate, I guess. I'll decide, the final discussion...

Most older people would consider 18 a kid compared to them.

Its sad how people on tv are worshipped like gods. In other countries the top tv/movie actors have their names listed in the phone book and are very normal in public. In my only fan letter I ever wrote to a Czech actor in his performance in the Oscar winning movie Musime si Pomahat he responded and I later met him at a local restaurant where I was staying. He drove me home with the tuxedo he would wear for a tv special hanging over the back seat. Everything seemed so normal. In America that would never happen.
