  • In a telephonic interview, SP Papumpare Taru Gusar provided detailed information regarding the discovery of a dead body near the Kolma railway track in Doimukh on Wednesday. The incident came to light following a verbal complaint received at the police station, reporting the presence of an unidentified body at the railway track. Upon receiving the information, SI Ribya Nako and his team were dispatched to the location to investigate.
    At the scene, photographs of the body were taken, and subsequent inquiries identified the deceased as Lt. Taba Tubin, 37 years old, son of Lt. Taba Kaga from Pila Village in Papumpare district. The relatives of the deceased were informed telephonically, and the body was later handed over to them for the performance of last rites.
    A written complaint was also received at the police station, and a case has been registered under DMK PS UD C/No. 11/24 U/S 194 BNSS.
    He also urged the residents living near the railway tracks to exercise caution, highlighting the routine schedule of trains and the importance of being vigilant to avoid such unfortunate incidents.
