Still never factored a single load in almost 3 years, you were pretty spot on with the cash flow requirements when adding additional trucks to the authority. When we were at our peak with 15 trucks signed on our average weekly net settlement payouts were typically 38k to 50k. It's a lot to cash flow, but factoring, giving away 2 or 3 % of your gross is just preposterous.

All the RUclipsrs have the same modus operandi. They’d rather get paid doing anything but driving. I could have told you it would have been a waste of your time. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched you.I thought you were with Patriot Star? Sounds like you got your own Authority now . I started in 2018 and have never used a factor company . I just can’t see the point using a factoring company when it’s just me and my one truck. I still think the best time to start a business is when the person is ready. Everyone told me equipment was over priced in 2018 and they told me to wait . If you ask 100 owner operators 99 will say “wait, now is not the time”. I always say when your ready that’s the time to start, trying to time the market and equipment prices never works out .
I agree for people that are prepared. Jumping into this market underfunded and not owning equipment already would be a huge mistake for most people right now though. Having cash flow would be the only way to survive the first year in this market.
