      Thanks for the nice comment. I do have a lot of fun with this, and enjoy seeing what others do with trains on Utube. ( I like any size train )

    I enjoyed this video in full! As a kid growing up next to the Canadian National I obviously also love the GTW. You have a great layout.

      Thanks for the nice note, just curious, how long does it take your steam engine to fire up, what do you burn for fuel ?

      @ that engine takes about 12 minutes to steam up depending on conditions. I burn isobutane. Of course there is oiling the mechanical parts, filling the compound steam oiler, filling the butane, and filling the water. But I can replenish those things on the fly when needed and can run the engine indefinitely.
