Ice Stupa Development in Hyderabad Stream Hunza by KIY team

The Worthy Vice Chancellor KIU Engr. Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah along with project team consisting on faculty and students of KIU and the supporting staff visited the Ice Stupa site, Hyderabad Nalla Hunza. Under the GLOF-II project funded by UNDP The KIU team experimentally developing the Ice stupa to strengthen the fresh water deposits. The project will help to avoid the water wastage and water starvation in April and May. The maiden artificial ice stupa project will fulfill the need of inhabitants of the area
