Just finished the game, unlocked weekly challenges, and had so much fun with the SF race. I just maxed the rear downforce and used racing medium tires, and took the lead at around 10th lap.
Just FYI, on the Formula event I used the '19 Honda, racing soft tires and fuel map 1. Had to pit one time (end of lap 8) and ended in first by a comfortable margin. Just another method if anyone's wondering!
I also used the '19 Honda fuel map 1, but with hard tires so I don't have to pit. Even with hard tires, I was 2-3 seconds per lap faster than the others
Great stuff! I took about 2.5 years off of playing the game and have now returned. I'm diggin' it just as much as I did in the beginning however I feel that only being at Car Collector 32, really hampers the experience as most things these days involve engine swaps. I also can't take part in the 4th event as I've not reached Book #48- which really bummed me out. I just need to grind my butt off. 😁
First thing The fact they added the SF race means we are getting closer to the F3500-A's release Second thing For the SF event, i'd suggest to use the LOWEST aero package you can, enough to take corners but low enough to get as much top speed as possible and set the anti-lag system to high, you'll burn more fuel but you are potentially faster.
Just barely finished this one, before the reset... Well, I didn't. I had only started it, before midnight..and it still counted, even though I didn't finish the race until 17 mins after. I thought I missed out on that 750,000 credit ticket. Lol. I'm glad that it is set up the way it is..or I would've been horribly disappointed. :P
It's crazy that in the Sunday Cup Classic, you can use a VGT. What I used in those weekly challenges, mostly for easy win and to finish it fast Sunday Cup Classic: Ferrari VGT Europan Clubman Cup 600: Ferrari VGT American Clubman Cup 700: SRT Tomahawk S VGT WTC900: Audi R18 TDI '11 Super Formula: Super Formula Honda '19
The super formula event is a really good one, but i think it is funny that the standard payout for this is 200k, but last week for a 1 hour race, it was $140k. Keep giving us good races like this and last week, but can the payouts also be worth it?
Cant remember what car I used as have a few with different tunes, 1st 2 laps was 1:35 a lap in 19th place getting used to the car again then was hitting 1:27 a lap after that no pits fm1 on rm tyres after 15 laps was ahead by 45 seconds on hard setting.
Pro tip for beginners (like very beginner): Use the Northern Isle Speedway: Sunday Cup for practicing racing, if you practice enough, you can win with a Toyota Tundra TRD Pro (Note that TRD Pro stands for Toyota Racing Development Pro)
Got rain in the WTC900 event but still won even though there were some very large gaps between groups of cars. For some bizarre reason the AI car that finished second pitted at the end of L8 and again on L9. For the SF race I don't know why you call it the death chicane as I never have any problems with it
Daily Races in sport mode earned the nickname Death Chicane. it's fine in SF cars, and easily done in 6th gear with no lifting too thanks to all the aero. Only time I have any dramas there is if there's an AI Car which brakes WAY too much for the entry.
I spenf like 3 hours trying to do the super formula one! I kept being spun out from thd guy behind me at around the 4th lap, and i would just restart at that point. I was also using wheel and ive only had it since christmas, never using a wheel before ever, so i switched to controller and htne in a couple tries after tweaking the power-lean ratio and brake balance i got it with a 20 second gap😂
I beat the SF race easily and I was being lazy running in automatic. I am really NOT fast by any means. I stick to shifter karts because they are limited in speed. Shifter Karts Scored Racing on Google Docs or Facebook. We practice a 8 pm Eastern U.S. and race at 10 pm Eastern on Wed and Sat nights. We have some World class drivers and a few of us slower drivers. Anyways, the payouts this week were a lot better with over 1,000,000 credits plus your Roulette card...
I did the Nurburgring event with the Mazda VGT G1., and it was a joke. On hards, fuel map on 4/5 and I was able to get to P1 even before AI started pitting. No need to pit with that strat.
Can’t make it for the SF race, my best lap was 1.23.950. I play with classic controler and SF is nearly indrivable, always sliding in accelerations … Can you give us the setup of your SF please ?
I think it's worth it to use the soft tires and just take the pit stop. Don't try to save fuel; you can get through with one stop and it's short. I'm not sure how I would do in a controller, but with all SF events there is no substitute for KNOWING the track, every single turn and exactly how fast you can possibly take each one. Do time trials until you can no longer beat your ghost and then the actual race is easy by comparison
I’m on controller just got 3rd. Run the Honda 23 ~ RM tires ~ stock setup just gotta feather the throttle coming out of corners I was abl to pull 122.7 lap
It took me awhile but I used the Honda SF19 and was in p1 on lap 6. I used racing mediums and TCS 2 because I’m really aggressive with the throttle and kept spinning on TCS 0 and getting too much slip on TCS 1. You can make up a lot of time on the AI in the first chicane and in the death chicane. Don’t use your overtake unless you’re 2.5+ seconds behind the car in front and can’t keep up in the straights. Like he said try to use the slip stream as much as possible I only used about 25% of my overtake by the time I got into p1 on lap 6. Also don’t force your overtakes too much in certain areas of the track where passing isn’t easy because it isn’t worth the risk of crashing and because the AI will not hesitate to run you off the track and spin you out if you’re not careful.
Thank you for your answers but after many tries I have to switch on easy mode for this one, after 93% of the game in difficult mode … I think my problem is that I play old school controler way since GT1, without analog, and that’s a mater for the best cars in the game like super formula.
Completed the SF Event easily.. and after 23mins of racing, I got 300‘000 Cr. paid out… better than last weeks 1 hour for 140‘000 Cr. but still…. these events pay out horrible. It‘s also a shame that this is again a week with only cash prizes…
You do have to keep in mind that the difficultly of the race plays a factor the SF event all the cars were nearly identical and was more of a challenge taking 10 of the 15 laps to take the lead vs the 1 hour long race were you could easily lapped the AI cars
@ True, the pace was much better but I still managed to lap almost the entire field… I was hitting pretty consistens laps and had great pace as the hard tires didn’t lose out much grip towards the end of the race… but it was still over 20 minutes for a 200k race.
I wound up getting a 5 star for my daily marathon and I wound up getting a Bugatti Chiron, even in the color I would have bought for myself! Pretty great tbh
idk why people are overcomplicating the formula event when you can do the event with a stock tune on softs and pit once while not even worrying. its not that hard guys you can even take the "death chicane" without dying at full speed
Lower down the aerodynamics, put the Front Wing at 2/6 of the max aero load, the rear Wing at the bare minimum. It's kinda like using a Monza like spec
@@unclemikesmiracles5836 I'd suggest you to don't add any sheets and do It in the garage. Also don't use the personalizable gearbox, use the stock One + maximum anti-lag if you have It (I Remember the SF23 Cars have anti-lag unlockable)
