    I just made this and I LOVE IT!!!!! Indian food was my weakness. The thought of never having Indian food again was hard for me, but now I feel like I can be raw forever! Thanks for sharing this recipe

    I love those tips (like the gratitude journal). In fact those touch on raw and healthy eating, but mostly are valuable for anybody and can make a real difference in our lives. Since you are representig such a big change, I would like to know how you came to realize all those things: for example where there books you have red that were meaningful in a larger sense, fellow youtubers that have changed your perspectives or other experiences that have really opened your eyes??

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  9 лет назад +1

      Aww thank you lovely!! I'm so happy how it's improved :) I love saffron and I'm not sure if I could taste it, but I added it anyways (I may need to add more next time) ;) I think it may have been better in the cauliflower "rice" part with the cumin, but you can play with it for sure!

    i looks great and very yummie....Just a question: What is this coconut sauce? I have not seen it before??

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  4 года назад +1

      Coconut aminos? It’s fermented coconut tree sap. It’s pretty widely available as a soy sauce substitute

    Just found your videos and I love them. I cannot get young coconut where I live in Europe, can you suggest an alternative please. This would really help as I am about to purchase your books and really need an alternative for all the coconut recipes. Thanks XX

      Hmmm - you could try using zucchini - but nothing will really replace coconut meat. Have you tried an asian style store? they sometimes carry it in the frozen section, if you have an asian store there by chance :)

    Can you sub. anything else for the coconut meat?? I live in Finland and it's impossible to find coconuts around here. i'm doing your 30 day mealplan atm and I can't get my hands into coconut meat :(

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  7 лет назад +1

      Hmmmmmmmmm.... You may need to skip this one because nothing really works like coconut for this specific recipe. You COULD try zucchini... I don't know how well that would work. Maybe cauliflower? (Freeze the cauliflower first and then when you are ready to coat the cauliflower, take it out of the freezer, coat it while still frozen and put them on the dehydrator sheet - they will dehydrate soft, not crunchy) But they just won't have the same taste/texture. For the sauce just use water instead of coconut water unless you can find some coconut water in the store (canned coconut water is not raw but it's still low-fat vegan so it can be ok in times like this). If you can find dried coconut in the baking section MAYBE... but you can always skip the coconut meat altogether! :) Then you don't have any added fats!! I would definitely try zucchini, see how that turns out :)

    do you have to dehydrate the coconut?

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  7 лет назад

      You don't have to, but it helps A LOT with the flavour and consistency. You can sun dry them, or if you want, use the oven on lowest setting... it wont be legit raw, but it's a good alternative.

    ...are you sure your skin isn't better cause you stopped touching your face all the time?...
    BTW coconut aminos is not raw unless you are making it yourself or your know who is making it! just so y'all know.

    • @RawFoodRomance
      @RawFoodRomance  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah I’m aware it’s not raw. Ive mentioned it in many videos. It USED TO BE raw but the companies had to heat it to stop the fermentation process to prevent the bottles from exploding when they shipped. And it was the diet that stopped me from breaking out. I’m sure the not touching as often helped but even if I indulge in higher fat raw days, I still get a zit here and there even after all these years.
