This is dope and similar to what we used to drill our students. First do the freeze and then do it with movement (circular, with the legs moving etc.). It is a good workout and good for if you freeze a little too early in your round, you can do different shapes to get back on beat.
ive been breaking for a year and a half, i learned how to do windmills(verybad form) in the 1st 6 months, but now that were in quarintine, i realized that my freezes and basic freeze stacks sucked. ive been trying to do freeze stacks every training session for the past week, and already feel so much better in all other areas of my breaking 🙌 thanks aj great vid as always
Brilliant tutorials i like the way you break it down. Always wanted to learn, (one of my cousins was a Soul Maverick)now with the lockdown I've got time to try and keep fit at the same time.
@@adnaanu Amiir! That's my guy! I spent a lot of years with him inside and outside the breaking scene. Dope 🔥 I'm from the first generation so I'm lucky enough to know every Mavericks member 😎
Thank you for these gems! Love it! I have problems with putting the opposite leg on my support arm, cannot go into the baby freeze from the front squat either, my leg slips. Do you have any tips on that?
Dope video. Lots of knowledge about getting strong and preventing injury. I will be training my basic baby and cradle freeze. I can seen how this can help with windmills. Thanks :)
Hey Aj you have the best breaking content I ever found! I started breaking some months ago coming from acrobatics, because of injury. I have no contact with b boys, so I d like to ask. I am right handed, I like to rotate counter clockwise. I can do all my freezes both sides. But right is more comfortable. So which side for freezes is normally used for counter clockwise spiners? Thanks a lot for your knowledge
this sounds weird but I'm a football freestyler trying to learn some freezes cuz I've seen a couple Japanese guys do some boy freezes with a ball and it looks sick! thanks a lot for the video :)
Yo dope bro! Freestyle football is amazing! Not weird at all! I too have seen some of the breaking skills added in to freestyle football! From CC's to zulu spins etc. I'm gonna watch a few videos as I haven't seen some in awhile, any recommendations? Respect!
I agree, however, this is part 1 of the basics. It's much easier to perform the negative rep (handstand to baby) then it is to baby to handstand. This would be next but even so, headstand would be first and the elbow. Handstand would be last as more advanced of the basics ;)
Sir for doing baby freeze from the second way where we are already in the freeze position and put non master hand on the leg.Can you tell where we have to put the other hand on the hip is it just below the hip bone or little bit ahead? I tend to put my hand a little bit away from the hip bone is it okay? Which is the best position to put the stabbing hand?

If you mean the cradle then it's out to the side and non stabbing. If it's the actual baby freeze then it's in the side of the hip. Watch my freeze basics video first and you'll then be able to do this 😎

AJ-47 Soul Mavericks I'd say YO FREESTYLE and KO-SUKE, they are the best
The best strength conditioning baby freeze exercise in my opinion is baby freeze to handstand vice versa :p

Can you make a tutorial on the hong 10 freeze?
I can indeed bro! Will do!
