I was wondering what sort of exercises to do to begin building muscle to be able to hold a turtle freeze for atleast a few seconds
@@parzival5450 start with turtle freezes.Just do them, even when it hurts in the beginning.Your body will adjust to the strain

THANK YOU!!! as a fan of break dancing from the very very beginning (movies Breakin' and Beat Street) and being a teenager at the height of the craze (1980's). I was always impressed by the dancers that I got to watch (we had a couple of 'crews' in Saskatchewan). And this particular move was the only one that I could NOT figure out. I knew there had to be a 'secret'. Thanks for explaining it in a way that makes sense. Whether or not at the age of 50 I will attempt it, at least now I know the trick.

@@frenchtoastberries everyone has his way to get it, its unlike the flare everyone tells you the same thing, windmill has many ways to practice. Once a bboy told me to practice rolling over my back to sustain the turtle freeze, continue and roll over the back, i can get the momentum and got it

the idea of using your knees instead of your feet to restab at first is very helpful. Think it will help me stop flopping over.
