The design of this dessert is really fantastic. i really love it. I think I will try to do it even if I can't find all the ingredient in my country. Thanx for the recipe!

This is just gorgeous. Simple to make, but with the little presentation tip I bet it would make an excellent dinner party dessert. Or dessert on Christmas! Hmm...
Some mixed berries or any berry that is tasty in the middle would be good for presentation and the tartness would be a nice offset to the creamy sweat texture, add something crunchy like a shard of caramel or brittle and you've guided the lily to the extent that your family and friends will wonder if some famous chef hijacked your kitchen. This dessert has the potential to make your party be remembered for a long time.
Todd, I was thinking about something close to what you did here. Do you like Reese's peanut butter cups? I guess you can already see where i am going with this. Instead of nutella and vanilla in each half I am thinking peanut better in one half in place of the nutella and cocoa in place of the vanilla bean paste in the other.

Maria P You should find it in most supermarkets. But if you can't just just one vanilla bean pod. Same thing :)

It would not set if you don't use gelatine but you can use other jelly powder as a substitute if you can't find gelatine in your local supermarket (:

Panna Cotta is made with eggs like a custard and is cooked in a bain-marie. There is no gelatin involved.

bulbinking, I think you may be confusing this with crème brulle or crème caramel. Panna cotta has no eggs & translates to cooked cream. Cheers :)

for the vanilla panna cotta you say "about a teaspoon worth" in the video, but in the description you say 1/4 teaspoon. Which is it?
