The thing that I hope I highlighted is that the instructors are so good they help you through every exercise and allow you to push your own limits as far as YOU desire… you will have great fun!
You will have a great time… I have an allocation in for 2nd C8… I may go back for this experience … just pure fun… thanks for watching and for the comment. I am slowing getting around to more C8 drive content… just tied up with jet ski videos now. 😃
Glad you found it! Another classmate, Bob M and I traded some correspondence laughing that we got each other’s graduation certificate! Later corrected! Ha
I liked the hot blondes response during her ride. Your instructor was cute too lol. Now that looked like fun, almost as fun as the PSO driving course. You are a natural. All that time playing video games sure paid off.
Thanks for the video. For autocross is it on day 1? Morning or afternoon? Then 2nd day there is a timed competition? The autocross course is it always the same for all the classes or do they vary? (Day 1 other than autocross, was it pretty boring? mostly classroom and can't drive fast yet right?)
For every answer I am going to give you remember there are multiple classes on going at the same time on different tracks through out the complex teaching the same course of instruction. Tracks are similar, but may not be mirror images so it depends what side of the complex you are using. But one you start you will use that track exclusively for the whole two days. Additionally your class is divided into groups of 3-5 people so everyone is doing something different at a different time. You will run the autocross cross several times the first day either morning or afternoon and yes you are timed on the second day to determine your best time and the best time overall for the class. The autocross course is set up to be the same for all groups within YOUR class and is the same the 1st and 2nd day. You will also be able to do your first track laps on the first day so you will go fast the first day. Everything they teach you up to your first track session even though you are not at speed are required skills you need to be successful on the track and to also understand the capabilities of the C8. Even though I had done most all of the driving drills (braking, apex, autocross, wet pad, etc) in other experiences I was not bored at any time. They do a great job of alternating class room with "lets go jump in the cars" and try out what we just learned. As long as you follow the directions of the instructors you will be able to challenge yourself from exercise 1 on the first day to your final fast track laps on the second day. The instructors allow you to push yourself to what ever safe limit you have set for yourself. Hope this helps. Bob
Yes they touch on your previous driving experience with you prior to class and put you in an appropriate group. then students switch around in groups as to how fast they want and can go on the track. I was in the middle group which suited me great.
Remember the instructor told Debbie to look where the car was going and you would not get motion sickness. Some students took Dramamine.... it did not bother me...
Fabulous video! I will study it carefully from now until I attend two weeks from now. Well done and thank you!

Wow they are really corvette experts. I wasn't expecting it to be that intense!
Yes, you can push it right up to your limit if desired...some went faster who had more experience.
Awesome. Going next May.

Great video!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks glad it was helpful! Bob
Awesome video. Thanks.
Glad you liked it! I plan on doing additional C8 "driving" content and not replicate what is already out there from the tech areas.
Hello from a classmate! I see my shirt in the front row and recognize the fellow in the right in your classroom pic.
Glad you found it! Another classmate, Bob M and I traded some correspondence laughing that we got each other’s graduation certificate! Later corrected! Ha
It was such a blast! Had a lot of fun, wish I could do that once a month or so! 😁
@@markw9512 Especially with someone else's car...makes you want to go back and push it a bit harder..
Oh yeah!! 😁👍

Yes there were a couple of drills just like in SOSS or PSO driving school except we were not in high performance cars back then… lots of fun!

Did they know you had an edge because of your military driving training?

A little different than a jet ski Bob lol
Speed on land or water….! Ha
6;20 , couldn’t you ask her to shut up ?
She was giving me valuable instruction on my first hot lap...I did not mind! ha😀
Made me dizzy watching you!
