Their logic about the God father being suspected as the father for helping out is kinda crazy. If that's the case then does that make me the mother of my friend's baby because I help them out sometimes or even look after them when they're away? Gosh people!
Their response was understandable. They saw a picture of a guy that they've never met or seen before holding and kissing a child that the son was having paternity doubts about. I think that They were doubting also because They have seen other pictures of him around the time of conception that wasn't mentioned in court. They probably had pictures of them kissing, expressing love and complementing each other. They could have had pictures of him at the baby shower being posing as if he were the father. She could have been calling him her baby's father online too. They found out she was in a relationship with him People do lie. Also, they're not around her 24/7.

A lot of people in this generation don’t realize that god parents isn’t just a title you give your closest friend. A godparent is the person who you appoint to legally become your child’s guardian in the event that something happens to both parents

Yes I'll agree partially with the Judge.....Being in a relationship as a teen is risky because you still going through the phase of adolescence....so on average, +95% of teens who are in a relationship don't make it to marriage or engagement.........qnd that is simply because adolescent stage blurres your decision making and stuff...so as you grow to your 20s...you start realizing that a guy or girl you dated as a teenager , is no longer the person you still want to be with....simply because you took the decision out of immaturity as a teen.........

The family were freaking out and having issues with it because it’s basically another man being 100% a better father figure to 5hat little girl than her own father. Plus anyone can see that’s his daughter, her mouth is exactly the same as his. I had my daughter at 19. I'm not going to lie, it's been very hard. Her father and I have been married for 2 years now and been faithful to one another. My family didn't approve of it so they don't give me any help whatsoever. His family is too busy getting high to help at all. We live states away from either one, but we're making it. These young people have support, but are too immature to look past themselves for the child. If y'all aren't getting married, it means the man is not going to be faithful. Judge Lake missed the mark on this one. These babies were trying to tell her something. Everything carried more weight, because they've been dealing with some heavy things that no child should have to deal with. When babies are preparing for death, there is a serious problem. This girl wasn't every girl. That boy wasn't every boy. I saw trauma when that baby boy got on the stand talking about what they've been through.
She was right..at that age you think everything is something. They had known eachother 8 months. Everything was moving fast. The guy with the glasses was really a kid. You can tell he was over his head.
Agreed. She totally missed the mark and didn't bat an eye. These are people dealing with serious traumas and trying to find their purposes and worth in life. Him/them thinking that he was going to die soon and that the fact that he thinks a child is the only way to leave a legacy is heartbreaking. Plus his mother is probably because of the grief of losing a child is probably saying a lot that she doesn't have anything to remember the brother by and she may keep hopping on the fact that he was never going to become a father in front of her children. He internalized that and to appease his mom and to see her happy again he planned to have a child. That's sad. Also when the judge clowned the girlfriend and said that he didn't want to really be with her because if he did he would have married her. People don't have to be married to be together. Being married doesn't define a person's happiness. Being married isn't an /the only indicator of a happy relationship. That was totally uncalled for. Now isn't a good time for them to be married anyways. They should be healing ..Also age is just a number when it comes to emotional, intellectual, and spiritual bond,maturity and intense connection. Life is intense. Love is intense. No one should try to invalidate the feelings and emotions of another. The judge isn't an open minded person. She lives in a marginalized bubble that she tries to influence and bully people in. She doesn't understand that everyone isn't like her, feels as she does morally, spiritually, emotionally and although people may have similar life experiences and emotional experiences no one will experience life, love, emotions exactly as another. She needs to respect these things. There was another case where the young man wanted a child because he thought he was going to die soon and she treated that seriously.

I agree she was wrong. Dismissing someone feelings as they are too young is detrimental and uncompassionate. Surprised she brushed the young man's feelings like that off. Children as young as 1 years old go through trauma because of abuse. Guess she didn't take psychology or human development courses in college. She needs to stop giving her personal advice when making judicial statements.

That's why white women don't struggle like we do, they wait till they're established in their careers then have their families.
