I ordered the Pro4848 also. It should be delivered by the end of July! I can not wait! A buddy of mine has 3d printed the touch plate holder for me already. I need to get him to print out the e-stop holder now after watching.
I know you have had a few months to test your mounting positions and see if you like them. My initial thought for the E-Stop button would be to mount it using the slots on the back side of the rail in the same location you mounted it. Mounting it this way it would not protrude as much but still provide very easy access. Great video and information!
Thanks for the comment Mike. I still have it it in its original location and it seems to work well for me. I may have to look at mounting it as you suggest!
I would advise you to consider to mount the tool zero adapter to in inside of the leg. You can wait to walk against it and maybe hurt yourself. When you hit in panic the Estop, for sure it will break, you need to turn it 90 degrees so it’s supported by the Alu bar. Also the same as for the zero tool. I advice to put the the Estop horizontal on the right corner of your service area. I don’t think you will run your mill often on that spot. Else glue a magnet on the Estop and drill a screw in you working service. An even better solution, make your Estop wireless. The Avid is most of the time running for a longer time. I guess it smart to be able the push the Estop where ever you are in the shop. I very much enjoy your video’s. I’m in the race to buy a machine myself. Your video’s are helping this newbie a lot
Hi Kenneth, Unfortunately these are just the print files to make them and I’m not sure of anyone selling them. If you don’t have a printer you’ll have to find someone to print them for you.
Hi Jonathan - Thanks! I think my lights were 5500K as I recall. The A/C adapter is a 24V power supply, Brand Meanwell, Part Number: GST60A24-P1J (YP12+YC12). They are super bright and light up the spoilboard great.
Hiya Pete! Check the description in the video towards the bottom. I have links to everything I used in my LED mod! I would be grateful if you used my Amazon links. I get a tiny kickback as an affiliate and it doesn’t cost you anything extra.
Great mods. I love the light. Thanks again for your videos!

You will love the AVID machine 😀

Yea, these are just preliminary mounting locations and subject to change depending on how it goes. Thanks for your input! 😀
Like the brackets for the touch plate and e-stop. Do you happen to know if these are sold anywhere already printed as I don't have a 3d printer?

Great mods!! I am guessing you went with the 6000K option on the lights. And did I miss the "a/c adapter part" or was it for the lights?

Do you have a link for the kit you ordered from led supply?
