My mother (!) and father both served in the Marines in WWII. My father fought in the horrific Battle of Tarawa in 1943 and later fought in the Korean War. My brother served in the Marines and was involved in the Battle at Khe Sanh in 1968. My sister served in the Army National Guard for years. My parents, may they rest in peace, would be shocked, horrified and disgusted by Trump’s vile disrespect for military personnel, both current and veterans. My brother and sister feel the same way to the point where they can now barely restrain their emotions when I bring up the subject.

A Navy vet told me that Bob would have still been working until they could safely arrange a flight. But he was never found. I think about how the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier represents him, and far too many others. And now my beloved son in law is in the Army stationed at Ft Campbell Kentucky. I love our military men and women and families, especially being a disabled person and never getting to serve myself. So grateful for each and every one. Just finished your book, Brian! As a social studies teacher in Canada, we studied political ideologies and economies from many different countries. We compared and contrasted them, and students came to their own conclusions using critical thinking and evidence. Over the years, I came to realize how negative the "trickle down economy" had been for the US and questioned many of the decisions that the Reagan and Bush admins made. But THIS BOOK made me gasp in places. The amount of times your book provides evidence for how the Republican party absolutely denied the American people help in order to further their own power grab was staggering. This is not a bloody game...there are millions of lives being affected by these selfish, narrow minded, power hungry jerks. I want to say to them, "You want to get back in power? Then bring forth policies that actually HELP people instead of yourselves!!!" It's so much like the crazy jealous boyfriend who says, "If I can't have her, then nobody can." How they were/are willing to burn it all down because they can't have their way just boggles the mind. It's like they forgot who they are working for...the people...and that their job is to serve, protect, and assist the people they represent. I honestly think presidential candidates should be tested before they are allowed to run for office...an exam on history, geography, law, economics, etc. It might weed out those who don't have a CLUE as to what they are doing, but might get the job based on popular TV or film work. I have a ton to say about this book, but I'll end with a THANK YOU, Brian. Your channel was a breath of fresh air and a place I went to for answers and sanity. I was born in Pennsylvania, but haven't lived there since 1966. I just left a Soccer game at Millersville University in Pennsylvania and driving back to Baltimore. I saw so many trump signs it made me sick. I'm so ashamed of the people of my state that support trump... I thought they had better values. But for those that are supporting him, it's not about values, it's about money, hoping they'll get a bigger tax break and they don't care what a slime, they are supporting or what could happen to this country if he gets back in... They only care about a tax break....shame on them...thank you governor!!!

He is lustful and running with Trump makes him feel validated and yet believes nothing about MAGA and Trump's ideology which seems to change daily because of Donald's indecisiveness . Blue all the way down your ballot, everyone. Let's make Kamala and Tim our next President and Vice-President and make Republicans realize how far they have fallen enabling someone as morally depraved as Trump. I hope to see a landslide in this next election..the world is watching how we treat women, the poor and how we value or children. Gov. Shapiro is so right in making sure children are a priority with their education being the best and also our kiddos being fed so they can function during school all day. Some families are struggling terribly right now and food costs are off the wall. The four companies, according to The New York Times, must adjust their prices and lower costs. Every week things such as bread and eggs increase astronomically. When parents see that they cannot support their children with food...it is painful.... like nothing else. I believe Kamala and Tim that this will be a priority for them on day 1 to get the companies to come more in compliance. They can still make profits, but they have continued to think as we had to think during Covid when transportation costs were so high that it did have a bearing on the cost of food, Drivers of trucks were sick and sadly others passed away....but we are not in that crisis situation now and things should be balancing out more. So glad that I left The Republican Party to vote for Barack Obama and to this day I am still a Democrat. I sincerely believe it is a party who respects all people and works for the middle class. A healthy and prospering middle class is what drives the country. I will for the rest of my life remain a Democrat and support their causes because the respect shown to all people equally is American.

My mother (!) and father both served in the Marines in WWII. My father fought in the horrific Battle of Tarawa in 1943 and later fought in the Korean War. My brother served in the Marines and was involved in the Battle at Khe Sanh in 1968. My sister served in the Army National Guard for years. My parents, may they rest in peace, would be shocked, horrified and disgusted by Trump’s vile disrespect for military personnel, both current and veterans. My brother and sister feel the same way to the point where they can now barely restrain their emotions when I bring up the subject.

So very grateful for you and your sons 🙏 Our military heroes deserve to be uplifted and honored every chance we get. My uncle Bob never made it home from Vietnam. He was stationed on the USS Hancock and was already supposed to be on his way home after serving four years. But times being what they were, he was having to wait. His job was loading weapons onto aircraft. He went overboard in an apparent accident, his tools where he left them. A Navy vet told me that Bob would have still been working until they could safely arrange a flight. But he was never found. I think about how the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier represents him, and far too many others. And now my beloved son in law is in the Army stationed at Ft Campbell Kentucky. I love our military men and women and families, especially being a disabled person and never getting to serve myself. So grateful for each and every one. The orange traitor should never be allowed freedom, let alone in the highest office. Freedom isn't free. God bless the United States of America 🇺🇲💙💪

As a wounded combat veteran, the things that President Trump has said and done about the military and those who've served and who were wounded aren't heroes hurt more than he'll ever know. My men in combat weren't Right or Left - we all fought and bled, and some died for our man to our right and left and sometimes in front of us. He should never walk in Arlington again. And lastly, when we left Afghanistan, he set the policy for this to happen and blamed President Biden for his snafu!

Just finished your book, Brian! As a social studies teacher in Canada, we studied political ideologies and economies from many different countries. We compared and contrasted them, and students came to their own conclusions using critical thinking and evidence. Over the years, I came to realize how negative the "trickle down economy" had been for the US and questioned many of the decisions that the Reagan and Bush admins made. But THIS BOOK made me gasp in places. The amount of times your book provides evidence for how the Republican party absolutely denied the American people help in order to further their own power grab was staggering. This is not a bloody game...there are millions of lives being affected by these selfish, narrow minded, power hungry jerks. I want to say to them, "You want to get back in power? Then bring forth policies that actually HELP people instead of yourselves!!!" It's so much like the crazy jealous boyfriend who says, "If I can't have her, then nobody can." How they were/are willing to burn it all down because they can't have their way just boggles the mind. It's like they forgot who they are working for...the people...and that their job is to serve, protect, and assist the people they represent. I honestly think presidential candidates should be tested before they are allowed to run for office...an exam on history, geography, law, economics, etc. It might weed out those who don't have a CLUE as to what they are doing, but might get the job based on popular TV or film work. I have a ton to say about this book, but I'll end with a THANK YOU, Brian. Your channel was a breath of fresh air and a place I went to for answers and sanity. I may be Canadian, but I also know how a globalized world works, so what happens to you impacts us, and I was incredibly concerned for a while. Sending a symbolic 💙 vote your way!!!
