Vandal Hearts | FMV #8 | Ending

With Vandal Heart in hand, Ash and his companions make their way to the capital city Shumeria to join the final assault on Dolf Crowley and his empire. Unbeknownst to everyone, and including the imperials, monsters have wreaked havoc on the city.
Dolf, fatally wounded, reveals himself to be the son of Arris the Sage, and with his dying breath unleashes The Flames of Judgement. Ash, unwilling to let the plague spread, unsheathes Vandal Heart and jumps into the flames thereby cleansing it. His fate, forever unknown.

Vandal Hearts is a turn-based tactical role-playing video game developed by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo for the PlayStation and later ported to the Sega Saturn by Konami Computer Entertainment Nagoya. The PlayStation version was distributed in Japan, North America, and Europe. The Saturn version was never released outside Japan. There was also a Microsoft Windows version developed and released exclusively in South Korea.
