I wish all families could be close like this family
I had the absolute honor of knowing the entire Osmond family. Went to the same church, delivered cases of Fruit Punch to their house when it was dropped off at a neighbors by mistake. Always had to wait for Marie to finsh up her racketball game so I could have the court. The entire family is an asset to God. They not only talk the talk but they all walk the walk. God Bless You Mrs Osmond and the entire family.
The Osmonds were and still are the perfect example of how to conduct oneself. Decent, moral and really lovely people. Respect to them all and to the memory of Mr and Mrs Osmond.
Thanks,for Marie, I met Donny once,mentioned a time,or,2,"wish I had met your sister". Jokingly, The conversation I had w/Donny in KY, was enlightened, I turned out ok, he's a good person,to meet,finding a new career path.(early 90's) Thanks,Donny.
I would love to have a copy of this full version. As a society we are in desperate need for families like the Osmonds. Unfortunately, families like this are very rare.

I love the Osmonds since I was in high school. Am a huge avid fan. I love their music even their true to life struggles but the family still intact. I love you Osmonds .

I just recently watched a video on the Osmonds. When George and Olive had their first two children, who had severe hearing impairments, the doctor told them they probably would end up being institutionalized and could arrange for it that day, but the couple refused. The documentary said that Olive and George worked with the two boys personally to overcome their disability somewhat. That just melted my heart.
George was our landlord for a couple of years, and he brought Olive by one day and introduced her. Very nice people.
I just finished watching a movie about how they met and how the boys got started in show business, that's only how far it went up to in the movie.. but what a wonderful family, wish i had met someone that i spent the rest of my life with, but not to be. George and Olive were true soulmates, that is for sure..
I had the honor of knowing them while they lived in Branson. Both were wonderful people and they raised great kids.

It warms my heart to see Father and Mother and the love they shared with each other and their children. The Osmond family has and always will have, such a very special place in my heart.

I had the pleasure of meeting mother osmond and all the brothers in the 70s, and I also met Donny a few years ago here in London, it’s a shame a lot of parents nowadays don’t bring up their children the same way as the world would be a better place.x
I'll say! Many parents today are asleep at the wheel, and expect the government to raise and pay for their kids. They don't bother to teach the kids right from wrong, or ANY beliefs, organized religion or not. They act like the child's friend not parent. That's if they are there at all! LORD HELP US!
So often we know of the groups we fall in love with and follow but do not get to know who they really are. With the Osmonds - they were a package deal. Its a part of life that we lose our mothers (mine in 1992) and our dads. If we were blessed to be raised in moral families with love and laughter we cherish those who raised us, and for those of us who have not been so blessed, our own lives can be a testament to love - if we so chose it. Awwwe this is so neat. The Osmond family. So chritian. If only we had families like them these days. The kids are all so well manered. What a blest family.
6:55 What a precious photo! I have not seen that one before. How adorable all those little boys are! I can only imagine how very proud they were not only of the amazing talent they showed so young on the Andy Williams show, but the fine people they all grew up to be. I am so grateful to all who have posted all the old clips. The Osmonds touched so many people.

Your story sounds like mine, my dad died in 1972, we were nine, too 5 girls & 4 boys. My mom never remarried. Last Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day and her 80th Birthday. I do feel really blessed. Thanks for this video! and thanks for comments, too.
This is lovely! Back in the 70s I used to be one of those crazy girls hanging out on Manning. Back then I wished that my parents were more like Mr. & Mrs. Osmond - think my life would have been very different indeed.

This touched my heart and brought back so many great memories. Your parents really took me under their wing when I was a 17 yr. old BYU freshman, and were so kind to me. I miss them and cherish my memories of them. Thanks so much for sharing this lovely tribute.
kids should be kids, do not have more than you can handle no matter the religion, and be reponsible for them. not make them work so young. but they all are good people and great role models. we need more osmonds in the world.

i love this tribute ive loved your family since i seen u on andy williams when u were young with the barbershop harmony-i feel like weve grown up together-im from a large loving family also-9 kids-its so great to always have your best friends around u i wish we had pics like this - my dad died in '62 so not many pics of him with younger kids my mom did a great job by herself raising us -she never remarried and focused on us -shes passed now and is dearly missed thanks for sharing thiswith us .

My favorite family, who was a perfect example for me while growing up, at a time when my own family was shatered to pieces when my mum died, when I was only eleven. My father took care of us ! He was the best, and so was Olive & George ... true love !

I don't think anyone knew how far the road would go when the kids took the first steps as being a quartet. Then the Andy Williams Show and they just took off, and the road stretched as far as they were willing to take it and the magic didn't last forever. They caught lightning in a bottle.

Holy mackerel. You are right! I suddenly see it too. I have been watching a lot of the Elvis videos, concerning his life and family, and the two women certainly bear a resemblance.

@@Heh3469 Elvis would call Olive and they would talk on the phone. One time Donny told a story about when Elvis called and talked to their mom. They asked where mother was their father replied oh she is in the other room talking to Elvis.

What I remember about these clips is how much older that Alan looks than the rest for not being much tallerthan the age bracket below him of kids? Ya know? He doesn't seem that young/tall looking now so it ages him to look older/shorter. Probably the gradual effects of more years of MS than I have been alive. I found an old clip of him and Donny from the valentines' day show that shows them hanging out together enjoying their brides and 1) they looked like clones (their brides) and 2) the boys

WOW! Are there still clips online (on this wonderful thing we call youtube) of this wonderful little boy? I am watching clips of him with his son talking about being a dad and I am going barely had a clue he was married let alone a dad and grandpa. Trying to figure out how someone who is 46 year old could be a grandpa--guessing when you have a kid at 21 you deserve the prize of grandkids in your 50s.
Anne Liesveld, well I became a Ama at 43 (I married at 20 and had my Son when I was 21 and my Daughter when I was 23). My daughter was 20 when she blessed me with a grandson and 10 years later she blessed me with a granddaughter. Sadly, in between these precious grandbabies, she lost my grandson when she was 8 months pregnant (stillborn). He will always be in my heart, also and I will see him one day. Family is everything. Cherish them before it is too late. There are no second chances after they are gone. ❤️

Their mother looks like Elvis mother.
Elvis would call Olive and talk to her on the phone. One time Donny told a story about the time when Elvis called and some one asked where mother was and one replied oh she's just talking to Elvis on the phone.
