I have a Theory about Ten. Nine had all but admitted to himself (which would have been the hardest to do) that he loved her when he chose to kiss her to remove the Time Vortex instead of using any other method. In the transfer, he would have known that Rose felt the same way about him because he would now have had access to all knowledge. Now here is the problem, because regeneration changes personally slightly along with the face, while Nine was ready to accept his feelings, Ten was not ready for this specially when we consider the basic 'School Reunion' storyline and obvious her not recognizing him as the same person in the Christmas Invasion and other comics throughout until after 'Tooth and Claw.' So because Ten is faced with feelings he can't control and doesn't know what to do with he acts out like a stupid teenager and Pompadour’s it and brings Mickey on board to hide behind and after Rose is gone he just goes off on a mopey, self indulgent bender that ends in the Time Lord Victorious Arc and then Eleven whom frankly was still sort of doing that a bit but since his in-laws were there I suppose it had to be more centralized, though honestly who here thinks River would not have minded? I don't support them as a pairing, but I like her personality and I think River would have thrown about as many or more innuendoes or offers as Jack. @@MissEleanorVane
