- The Zeapon Micro 2 Slider is already one of my favorite compact, travel sliders on the market. The folks over at Zeapon have done it again, this time with their motion control module. This adds programmable, replicatable, motion to any slider shot, in any direction you want.

Nice review - very clear and well explained - thank you!
My Zeapon Micro 2 arrives tomorrow - I decided to buy it after spending most of the day trying to get a decent timelapse "push-in" shot with another slider that wobbled the camera all over the place (using a Fuji X-H1 with 60mm macro lens so not a really heavy rig).
I think some gaff tape is going to be needed to hold that battery in, but if that's the only defect I think it's going to work well for what I need.
I've had this slider for a while. I haven't used it on a shoot, yet. But, I have shot some tests with it. And I think it's great. My only pet peeve is the battery. It only takes a slight bump and the battery falls off. When I do take the slider on a shoot, I plan on wrapping tape around the battery before I start shooting. I hope they devise an accessory that allows you to more securely "clamp" the battery onto the slider. Personally, I was rather surprised that the battery was so easily knocked off.
That’s my complaint too! I haven’t had it fall out on me yet, but it definitely isn’t locked in by any means. I wish there was a safety or button to lock it in.
I like your videos... you do a nice thorough job explaining things... thank u
Thanks so much!
Great reviews (instruction manual replacements!)
Happy to help!
Did you film the beginning montage on the EOS M? Obviously you dollied at 0:11. Did you manually zoom, or did you edit that in post?
Great question! The intro was shot on the Panasonic GH5s (my main, head-on camera) I did a post push to do the dolly zoom using the 4K footage in the 1080p timeline.
@@garrettsammons Thanks for your input :)
Would be cool to see this in comparison with JibONE
Totally! The job one adds another axis of motion, which would kind of make it unfair. That said, I think as Zeapon expands this line, it might make a good vid down the line.
this is the worst experience i've ever had. they can't help you.they make broken alts in a short time and they won't help. they waste your money
