THANK YOU for watching, we'll look forward to sharing the office/guest house update on Sunday! And THANK YOU also for subscribing-- we are GRATEFUL!! We hope you have a great day! - Dawn
Hands down favorite Podcast is Help Me Teach the Bible with Nancy Guthrie. Favorite episode is one she did with David Platt where he showed God's heart for the nations from Genesis to Revelation. Wow!
Hi Dawn, always enjoy and implementing you channel🌞☺️. You, dear sisters, are so right when it comes to finding your Christian Church and friends🙏😇. How is your "molar or premolar" root canal feeling? I do a lot in my practice, and post-op goes well for patients. Hopefully, your dentist took it out of occlusion (they tend to hyper erupt due to the root apex tip) root infection. Therefore, long story, they have to be ground down a little, since they sit too high. Also, Motrin will calm the inflammation!! Feel better, I have been on the receiving end of a root canal too 🥺🤕😧
I love you guys! I do love to hang around more with Christian friends that helps to hold me more accountable and that’s why I like you guys so much you have been such an inspiration wanna comes to minimalism and frugal Lizum it’s been so helpful I actually use you as my mentor for minimalism thank you so much we have a very small home it’s about 1240 ft.² and I called the west wing the left side of our house next to the baby gate im doing daycare is been completely gone through we redid everything and updated so I packed everything that I kept and that I don’t need it right away so and I still have two other rooms up here to do and that’ll be that thank you so much guys. Love in Christ! Sorry I use Siri so I hope where he corrected it in his version you can still read through the lines. LOL
Am I allowed to share two comments? :) I am 51 years old and have never been married, but have always desired marriage and family. It's hard to be an older single in a world of families. God can use your singleness for his purposes, but I don't think marrieds understand the struggles with loneliness and taking care of all the needs of a home alone. A church family is an absolute necessity, but Christian friends could be more proactive in bringing people together. Kudos to Diana's friend who asks for help here! Don't forget to show some love to the singles!
It can also be difficult in a church if you’re married, but your spouse doesn’t go to church or have the same beliefs. It is a lonely place. You don’t fit in with the singles group and you don’t fit in or get invited to the married couples activities. I definitely feel for the singles. I can imagine that it is quite lonely. Prayers for you all.
@@FFETGB I have many friends in that situation. It really is very hard. We all need to reach out to one another - maybe over coffee or lunch - and not let these differences keep us from loving and encouraging one another.
I am 64 and never married. I was young, healthy, pretty, smart, educated...I even prayed daily until I was 30 for a husband. But, unlike women who may feel lonely or left behind, I kept busy and served in multiple ministries, did short term missions, sang in choirs, sang at weddings and funerals etc. However, without the mystery husband's income I realized I would have to plan for retirement alone. God opened up career pathways for me. At age 60 I earned my doctorate. But now I am retired I am wondering if I will use it soon in the next phase of my life.
I understand this all too well. I'm 42 and still single, practically the only single in a big group. I've now signed up for multiple small groups to meet new people and be more intentional with my singleness.
When I meet someone new I ask myself why God brought me to this person. Sometimes they need me, sometimes I need them. Each person we meet is an opportunity to expand our horizons. The best way to learn something new about myself is to think of what I can bring to the table when meeting others.
I am not a religious person and tend to not watch channels that talk about religion but you guys do it so sweetly and without making me feel “pushed” to listen for lack of a better term. I love your channel and your family and how you talk about linking life to mental health and inner peace
Y’all are so very relatable, it’s so comforting to see other women who are devoted Christians and so down to earth. Thank you both for being a blessing!
I think your darker hair is more flattering to your natural complexion, and creates a nice contrast to your eye-color. At one point, I worked in Cosmetics, and have come to believe that most people's natural hair color really is the MOST flattering to their face. And "healthy" hair creates more natural shine, than colored hair. Anyway, each person knows what they feel most comfortable with, but as far as I'm concerned, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ☺️ You and Diana are lovely. No need to add extra maintenance!
I have always thought this as well. My stylist asked if I minded if she used my hair to make color swatches, since it had never had any kind of color or other kind of treatment. I don't even blow dry. Lol. It's just the color it is and the wavy, curly, random texture that it is. Suits my coloring and my slightly out-of-bounds personality...lol.
It’s crazy how just being stronger in your faith can help you stay positive and happy more. I really notice when my faith is lacking or put on the back burner because my mood will change and my patience goes right out the window.
Favorite podcasts: RZIM’s Just Thinking (Mon-Fri), and Let My People Think (Sat). I’m 73 years old and was thrilled to find Ravi Zacharias’s podcasts! I have discovered that, as vital as faith is, it’s OK to THINK through questions, and logic is not a bad word in Christianity! Their motto is, “Helping the thinker believe, and the believer think.” Ravi and his team answer the most difficult questions of believers and non-believers. A fresh new dimension has been added to my life as a Christian. The Minimal Mom is my absolute favorite “other” podcast!! Love you folks so much!! You lighten and brighten my day - and I learn so much. Not just how to minimize, but how NOT to feel guilty about the difficult, emotional parts, and to press on.
My husband and I got together at 34. We met at 18: so my advice is go to your college reunion 🌈 We had our first son at 39 and twin boys two years later 💙💙💙
“Dating” for friendships: When we moved, it was hard to make friendships that felt deeper than acquaintances. We joined a small group that dissolved soon after, and then decided to start our own small group through our church. It was WAY WAY out of our comfort zone to start and lead something like that, but 9 years later we are still enjoying these friendships and growing together in our faith. There’s been lots of turnover with families leaving and joining, tension that we’ve had to work through together, babies being born and joining in the fun, Covid complicating how to meet.... It’s all so worth it!
My good friend from our small group says, “Small groups give us a chance to love each other until we like each other.” I love the my small group before my move was intergenerational. It’s so valuable and opposite of what so many churches do (men’s ministry, youth, women, kids, singles, marrieds, senior saints). We’ve been baby holders and pall bearers for each other, furnace fixers and cooks.
i was just thinking about the sunday videos! love these, even though i am not religious, your prayer only expresses goodwishes for people and is very calming
On dating you need a getting to know one another & it's OK to say No to someone who isn't right for you. I wish I had been advised in my 20's. A good church belief 's are so important.
When looking for friends don’t be opposed to couples/individual that are older or in a different season of their life you 😁 it’s possible to learn and grow and also have fun with old folks lol
This is so true!! My small group was mostly people my age range, but my sunday school class is mostly people about 10+ years older than me. Having lived through (and survived) the toddler years, they are constantly giving me insight that I can apply to today. (As well as preparation to the teen years lol)
I just wanted to say I really like your natural hair color it’s very pretty, shinny and looks full/thicker. I can relate to your experience with blonde hair, I decided to stop dying mine blonde (years ago) as well due to the damage and breakage. Once mine was healthy the thought of it getting over processed to go blonde wasn’t something I was willing to do. You look great either way, but your natural hair color is something a lot of people go to a salon to get!
I am glad you are feeling better Dawn!! The "not getting any younger" line brings tears to my eyes everytime you two talk about relationships. I have wanted to be married for as long as I can remember (I even had crushes on boys in kindergarten) and I am 53 almost 54 and still single. I gave up wanting kids quite a while ago (which was hard but at this age it is what it is). I have prayed, thought positive, looked, stopped looking, met guys on line with similar interests, joined bowling leagues, got involved with sports booster teams, going to concerts and other things alone and nothing. I unsuccessfully dated guys that I worked with (at different jobs) and after I decided that I was no longer going to do that (co workers getting all up in your relationship business) things just stalled. After talking with friends about what I want & don't want, I don't think my list of wants is too picky at all. I just don't know what to do. I have always felt that I am meant to be a wife but and why would God put that do heavily on my heart if it was not meant to be. Covid and being alone has made this all worse for me. Sorry don't mean to be a downer it is just so frustrating. Sorry, just needed to vent a little thanks for listening. I hope you both have a wonderful weekend!!
@@FFETGB Thanks. I really try not to feel bad about it, but sometimes it does really get to me. I am so truly happy for Dianna but can’t help but feel a little jealous. I just felt I needed to get it off of my chest, hopefully it helps. Have a great weekend!
I hear you, the struggle is real! After praying for years and years...and years, my husband and I met online at christiancafe.com. We lived many states away (1,000 miles). We saw each other 2 times prior to engagement (for 3 days each time), but we talked on the phone a lot. It is still possible. We are 9 years apart in age. If you let God lead, the person might not look like what you thought you wanted, but it's the best for you. Hope this helps!
I'm sorry for the challenge you experience. I have several adult children who long to be married and see the clock ticking away for having children. We pray but no answer.
I love the “Don’t Mom Alone” podcast. She interviews a great variety of people on a great variety of topics with a humble approach to take what fits and don’t worry about what doesn’t.
Dianna, I loved how you answered the question of how many children "a bunch"! So sweet! I just had baby #6 last week, I look at her and just feel so much love, I'm so thankful to have a full home. 😊 pray you will have your quiver full as it says in the Bible. ❤😊
I was first exposed to my now best friend Beckie in a large homeschool group. In order to get to know her better, I offered to help her paint her kid's bedrooms. Bingo. We got to know each other really well while getting practical work done and we've been close for over a decade now. So....volunteer to help out in order to meet a friend or potential spouse;)
I love that you talked about the benefits of meditation. Some Christians won't even consider it, but it's made such a difference in my life. I've been leading virtual group meditations for people at work and church, and I finally got brave enough to share the recordings on RUclips! Thanks for inspiring me with your wonderful channel!!
I love the "Don't Miss This" and "Follow Him" podcasts. My church is studying the Old Testament this year, and these podcasts feature seminary teachers and scholars who discuss insights, culture, spiritual messages, etc. and it's so helpful in understanding the OT better and learning more from it.
Awwww Declan was looking 👀 at the 🕯 candles light 💡 and it was SO ADORABLE 😍🙌🏻❤️👶 I was hoping that Dawn or Diana would notice and move the candle to behind the 📷 camera so we could see more of Declan’s expressions 🙌🏻😄 He was like “Mom you have to look at this!”At the 9:25 point😂❤️👋🏻👀
The Naked Marriage Podcast is one of my husband’s and my favorite CHRISTIAN marriage advice podcasts. I know the name naked marriage might seem on the edge, but the reason it’s named that is naked =vulnerable, transparent, nothing hidden, all in. Dave and Ashley Willis are wonderful speakers on the subject of living your best marriage possible! I highly recommend it!
I love being a member of my Church. Your congregation, which we call our ward, is our ward family. We watch out for each other and try our best to be truly unified. And it's instant that we are a family and are inclusive of any one in any religion. We are Christians too and try our best to treat others as Jesus did when He was here and what He still does.
My mom was an identical twin. Mom, my aunt, dad and uncle were in business together for decades. The 4 of them got along extremely well. Our family got along well and all of us are close. I am very thankful for the attitudes of our parents.
Summit Life with JD Greear podcast. I love podcasts, it is what I listen to when I have "busy" work. Mowing the lawn, cleaning the bathroom, driving. You all need to DO a podcast!
Seriously, thank you for the dishes in the sink. It makes you real! I loved this video & learning more about you both. I think you look very much like identical twins, but I see you so differently. Diana has always seemed older (which is neither good or bad), I can't say why. You are both delightful!!!
It’s always fun watching you together❣️ I miss my sister so much when I watch the two of you. I’m not sure one ever gets over the death of a sibling. Jesus Calling podcasts are great because they have so many different and interesting guests!!
What a fun episode! The way the two of you interact and that you are so forthcoming with your realities is beautifully refreshing. You asked for podcasts we enjoy. Two are making an impact right now. The first I have been listening to for the last year and it’s “The Next Right Thing.” Each episode is immensely practical and inspiring. I could listen to Emily P. Freeman all day long. The other is “God Hears her.” That’s a more recent find and several episodes have really asked questions that my soul needed. The other thing I listen to each week is the two of you. I look forward to your video every week. In fact, I saved this early-release video for Sunday morning because it has become such a precious time listening as I prepare for worship. Thank you!!
I think one of the best things about being an identical twin is that your kids and your twins kids are genetically half siblings. What a gift for them!!
I have 1 lifelong friend from school, we’ve been friends since kindergarten and we’re 70 years old.....the rest of the school friends are more like acquaintances now.....my daughter has 12 year old identical twin girls, and still, very few can tell them apart....awe, what a sweet boy Diana has.....both of you have beautiful children.....
"The Literary Life Podcast" has been such a blessing to me this past year. The premise is that we all read a book together a few chapters at a time. Then the hosts discuss the assigned chapters each week. After spending all my time investing in caring for my home, my family, and homeschooling, it's the one thing I do for myself that is not practical and pragmatic. It's just to stretch my mind and make me feel like I'm still an adult with adult thoughts. The books covered this year have been: "The Winter's Tale" by Shakespeare, "The Importance of Being Earnest" by Oscar Wilde, "Trojan Women" by Euripides, "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis, "Leaf by Niggle" by J.R.R. Tolkien, "Till We Have Faces", by C.S. Lewis. Some of those books I would have never considered reading on my own. Shakespeare and Euripides would have been too intimidating if I didn't have the show's hosts walking through the books a few chapters at a time.
Huge fan of the "Ask NT Wright Anything" Podcast. One of the top New Testament scholars and appreciate his biblical knowledge as well as thoughtfulness.
I love what you said and @ 23:16 applies whether looking for spouses or finding friends. I firmly believe that connections form when we are 'receptive' to them and so is the other party. I l am new to your channel and like what you two have to say. Thank you for posting.
Podcasts- Risen Motherhood and At Home with Sally (Sally Clarkston) Thank you for putting this video out today. It was encouraging to me in my grief. We lost our son last week when I was 37 weeks pregnant and my life has been turned around. I’m not sure what it was about the video except maybe just that it’s ok to have normal life/ feelings and not try to be on top of everything or “spiritual” when I talk to fellow Christians about the struggles in life. ❤️
I love WBGL's The Unfolding Podcast! They share people's stories of how they have seen God working in their lives. I also love your videos, Dawn! I'm learning to be more minimalist, to unclutter, and let go of stuff. I love Dianna's prayers, Dawn's smile and laugh, and Tom's humor. Thanks!!
Dawn your natural hair colour is lovely. And don’t worry about covering your grays. They are beautiful too. A great RUclips channel that feels like a podcast is Wretched Radio. You two ladies are such an encouragement. Watching your Sunday morning videos is like a zoom Bible study with friends.
Oh my goodness, I resonate with you guys so much. I was in band and an athlete. I was kind of in between a lot of groups. I always think the most interesting people are those that weren’t popular! Love your channel and have been following you awhile!
Happy recovery, Dawn! I hope you didn't bite your cheek. Thank you for the dirty dishes and proving to us that you are as human as you seem. 😜❤️ Hugs from Brazil
I enjoy "Fierce Marriage" it's a podcast with a Christian couple and they are great at talking about marriage from a biblical view point and they are very intentional about their topics and conversation, but it's also natural. I love them!
Thank you for sharing! I have so noticed that I need alone time as well, I love having more family time but it will drain me without any time to myself. I appreciate both of your wisdom! ❤️
I enjoy the Risen Motherhood podcast because they tie in the gospel with the daily grind of motherhood... it helped me learn how to explain the gospel and also connect the gospel to the mundane of life
I love love love your natural hair color! I think you look younger and naturally beautiful! And I love you and everything you’ve brought into my life. You have been a bright spot and motivation during covid! Thank you thank you thank you!
I'm 6'4" so I agree with you on pants (39" inseam. YIKES!). But, I can access all the shelves in my kitchen cabinets, and I don't have to worry about getting lost in a crowd (pre-COVID). Let's not even talk about flying though. That's a painful topic.
identical twins...just shows what a difference hairstyle and makeup can make, you both are pretty in your own way. Love to hear you speak about the Lord in your life choices
Benham brothers are really great! They give such great business/bible connections and also just a great word! I also love Mark Driscoll he pastors a church in Arizona.
As far as friendships go, I have found that it really helps me to be intentional to make an effort to ask people that I have a real heart connection with, to consider praying together and holding each other up in prayer. And so we’ve made a point to get together weekly or once a month or biweekly whatever our schedules allow, to get together and see what’s going on in each others lives and what people need prayer about. I am usually the one who ends up scheduling all of us, cause I know we’re all so busy. So we make sure to get at least once a month down on the calendar and then we all feel all really heard and cared about. It’s very encouraging! The more trustworthy the more I think the depth of your prayer request increases. I hope I’m explaining that OK
I love the relationship you and Diana have. My sister and I are best friends too and I love to hear you girls laugh together.Max Lucado always has words of hope. Matthew West has a new one every Wednesday and interviews someone new every week, very encouraging.
Max Lucado has a fabulous set of podcasts called(encouraging word)they are practical and encouraging and a reminder that we are never alone with God in our lives. They are very fitting as we manage all that’s going on in our world at present.
My favorite podcast is Risen motherhood they have been a huge source of encouragement in reminding me that faith is foundational no matter the stage my little are in. And gracelaced with Ruth Chou Simmons for the same reason, but also because she is a stage ahead of me with teen and adult children- that I need to live in my current season but also look forward to the next season.
Justin Peters Ministries, Polite Leader, Stonebriar Community Church, THE BEAT ... Allen Parr, John MacArthur ... Grace to You Doreen Virtue. Mount Forest Victory Church. Spencer Smith, I have learned so much during this unusual time. Different faith traditions. All challenging.
"Doing...working in your sweet spot! Doing something you like daily!" Aaaahhh I never could figure out how to describe having a gooood day. Thank you! That blessed me 😃
Ladies! I don't comment on any channel much-just know that you have inspired me more than |I can tell. Both in the home and in life you have helped me focus again. i am a gramma but know that -like many younger women in our church- I would enjoy your company and admire the life you create for your families to give them a real life not just a life trying to keep up with the world. Keep helping people- God sure is using you. We will meet-in our next life.
Diana is a pastor??! I'm just now getting that (palm to forehead)! I just thought she happened to be very knowledgable about the Bible. I'm not even particularly religious, but I love Diana's prayers b/c they're always so full of love and hope for others. They're very uplifting and comforting. Go Diana!
Dawn and Diana, great video. It fills in the blanks of those questions we always wanted to ask. Fun too. Love the baby sway Dawn. I still do it when I’m around people with babies! Thanks again for sharing. Look forward to the video on Sunday for the outbuilding up date. Please be safe and hello to all the family! ❤️Leslie
Diana, keep in mind that many people are only familiar with the Minimal Mom (more secular), so it’s a good idea to say the full form of the Bible translation, *then* to follow up with the abbreviation.
*** I love Ravi Zacharias RZIM ministries posdcasts for his bar non, the best defense of Gods Word Apologetics. *** I love Heidi St John for her due diligence in homeschooling & defense of true Biblical freedom in our Country today. *** I do love Revive our Hearts as well, for Nancy and the many guests they have just truly uplifting and challenging to my Spirit as a Born Again Believer. That really is all I can truly appreciate and add into my life. Three podcasts seems perfect. I’ve tried a few others but this mix of 💯 pure Religion with RZIM undefiled, feet on the ground with Heidi St John, & building blocks of life with Revive our hearts!!!
Hi Dawn (and Diana!) -- I found your RUclips channel about a month ago and I'm really enjoying watching your videos. I'm learning a lot. You guys are adorable. Your husband and kids are adorable, too. You are very "real" and I really like the things that you have to say. I'm an identical twin too. I love watching the interaction that you and Diana have with each other. My twin sister lives in Washington (she moved up there last year with HER identical twin daughters) and I miss her a LOT. We are very close too. I've always been a bit of a clutterer but I HAVE gotten a little bit better these past few years -- with that being said, I want to get EVEN better and learn how to live a more "minimal" life style. I love seeing your home in the videos that you make. Everything looks so nice and put together and NOT CLUTTERED! That's what I want MY home to look like. Keep up the great work!
I’ve been watching for awhile and never commented. I love that you mentioned Craig Groeschel. That is our pastor. My husband helped start the church in 1996 and led their single’s ministry the first few years. Craig married us in 1998 when our church met in an old bicycle factory and had about 250 ppl attending. Now there are 35 campuses. We attend the campus that Craig preaches live from each week. Craig and Amy are some of our dearest friends. ❤️
Hi where in lock down again in England, seeing you to has really helped, I'm like dawn love some me time each day, never use to when I started watching you in the begin.l also love decluttering ,so true you do the big one at the begin, but still find more to donate which helps me mentally as its helping others and better for me mentally and physically.lot less to clean more time to enjoy the small things in life
Podcast recommendations: 1. Abiding together- beautiful conversations between women journeying in faith. So encouraging and wonderful guests! 2. Relevant radio- this is actually a real radio station but they have an app that has all their shows archived along with prayer resources and tons of other great stuff!! I really like it because it's live and helps me not feel isolated at home!!
Whoa!Dawn, I had many nice thoughts during your talk but seeing your little boy at the sink washing a dish made me so happy! If only I could do it all over again....I would teach them that self sufficiency....(my kids are 17 and 19)..
Yes. I could use a prayer for marriage. I'm 63, and I've been divorced 30 years, but prefer to be married. I could use prayer for my daughter to come back to Jesus Christ. Thank you!
My college roommate had suffered through 2 bad marriages but was always faithful to trust God. She raised her 2 boys alone and relocated back near family. She remarried this June at the age of 63 to a wonderful man who had been widowed 5 years ago. They met on Eharmony.com
My favorite (and only) podcast is Pray Every Day with Mary Demuth (also one of my favorite authors). I'm subscribed to Beth Moore on RUclips, but I don't often have time to watch. Donna Partow is another favorite.
I LOVE Home Fires Podcast. With Abigail Douglas. It’s purpose is to encourage homemakers and life givers to create comforting war-time outposts while we await the better home to come ❤️
Definitely took me 10-15 years to find people who were my tribe. Also I wasn’t picky, guess I’m just not that likeable! 🤪 My tip is finding people who need you the same as you need them. I am a needy person who likes to spend lots of time with people. I had a hard time finding people who needed me that much. -Lindsay
I love the Happy Hour podcast with Jamie Ivey. She has a special guest each episode, and I love to hear each lady’s testimony and what God is doing in their lives. It’s been a few weeks since I found your channel, and I’m loving it. Currently living in the south, but I’m originally from MN. Thanks for sharing!
You asked about favorite Christian podcasts / authors, so here are a few I think are really solid: 1) Risen Motherhood podcast and FB page- keeps my eyes fixed on Jesus in the midst of mothering. 2) Rachel Jankovic- Not afraid to share truth in the face of the lies the world is feeding us. I especially love her quick read book "Loving the Little Years." 3) John Piper- passionate about God and His word. 4) RC Sproul- more academic in nature, but makes complex truths about God's word more easily understandable. 5) Ruth Chou Simons- beautiful artist and communicator of truth.
Mom to Mom podcast with Jamie Erikson, September McCarthy and Kate Batistelli. They talk about everything Christian mom life, homeschool, living in our culture. Love it! ❤️
I really like the podcast Enjoying the Journey with Scott Pauley. He goes though a passage teaching verse by verse. They are 10 minutes long and loaded daily. I LOVE the MacArthur Daily Bible!! I like that it's broken down by the day like a devotional and that it contains some study notes too.
You mentioned the NLT--New Living Translation. I love that version! I have it in the Life Application Study Bible format, which is so helpful in my own personal study time, and I just got it in the new Filament format, which pairs an easy-to-tote-around text Bible with an app that scans wherever I am at in the Bible and gives me all sorts of notes, videos, overviews, and stuff for those verses right on my phone! So useful! I got it directly from the publisher, Tyndale.com Love your videos. I gobble them up. Thank you for being so encouraging, honest, and yet challenging, too. Blessings on both of your families.
THANK YOU for watching, we'll look forward to sharing the office/guest house update on Sunday! And THANK YOU also for subscribing-- we are GRATEFUL!! We hope you have a great day! - Dawn
I hope you feel better all the way soon! Thanks for posting! I appreciate you (and Diana) 😊
Hands down favorite Podcast is Help Me Teach the Bible with Nancy Guthrie. Favorite episode is one she did with David Platt where he showed God's heart for the nations from Genesis to Revelation. Wow!
Subscribed since years ago and always looking forward to your wonderful videos
Hi Dawn, always enjoy and implementing you channel🌞☺️. You, dear sisters, are so right when it comes to finding your Christian Church and friends🙏😇.
How is your "molar or premolar" root canal feeling? I do a lot in my practice, and post-op goes well for patients.
LOL
Dawn your channel gets better and better all the time. Tom and Diana have added so much. 😀🙏🏻
It is so sweet to watch Dawn swaying like moms do as her sister is holding the baby. That instinct doesn't go away! 💜
I remember doing that sway in line at the grocery store--then realizing my husband was holding our son. I was holding a bag of flour.
@@MyFocusVaries this made me laugh 😆 I think I’ve done that too 😆
@@MyFocusVaries I would sway standing in line even when I wasn’t holding anything. Brings back sweet memories for me. Even 35 years later.
Yes, I was thinking the same thing❤️
I had someone ask me how old my baby was because I was rocking potatoes in line :)
I’m 47 and never married.
Anyway, each person knows what they feel most comfortable with,
but as far as I'm concerned,
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" ☺️
You and Diana are lovely.
No need to add extra maintenance!
I think God knows best and the hair color He gave me MUST be best for my appearance!!!
I agree - healthy, low- maintenance and looks good - a winner!!!
Perfectly said!
So true Maggie. This is where I've been and right now I am reaping the (lack of) fruit that I've sown. 😟
Absolutely true! I know my faith makes me stronger mentally and gives me more hope so my mood is better at those times.
Diana I couldn't take my eyes off of Declan. What a handsome boy!
I agree, such a cute baby 😀👶
He’s so cute, so big already.
He's such a cutie!
Same here. Love the general messages of love and being a good person and good neighbor.
Yes!!!! So true!!
Yes! I've got a friend that's at least 20 years older than me. People are people! Age doesn't matter as much after 25 I think
This has been very true in our lives!!
I was part of a bible study group and all of the women were 30 years older than me! I learned so much from their wisdom!
THE BOTH OF YOU ARE SUCH A BLESSING, THANK YOU
I am glad you are feeling better Dawn!!
I am so sorry. My heart aches for you!!!
At Home with Sally & Friends (Sally Clarkson) & Risen Motherhood are my favorite podcasts these days.
Awwww Declan was looking 👀 at the 🕯 candles light 💡 and it was SO ADORABLE 😍🙌🏻❤️👶 I was hoping that Dawn or Diana would notice and move the candle to behind the 📷 camera so we could see more of Declan’s expressions 🙌🏻😄
He was like “Mom you have to look at this!”At the 9:25 point😂❤️👋🏻👀
Suggested podcast : Revive our hearts. So deep and biblical.
Yyyyeeeeeeessss!!!!
I agree!!
I was coming to say this too! I haven't taken time to listen lately and I need to. It's always encouraging & challenging (in the right way).
Thanks, I just subscribed to “Revive our Hearts”, great videos~< ✝️
Also RZIM is absolutely fantastic with pure defense of the faith Apologetics!!!
Dawn, I really like your natural hair color! Diana, your spiritual insights have been a blessing to me! Thank you ladies!!
I appreciate your dirty dishes in the sink - we all have them👍🏻😉
We sure do !
Amen!
Podcasts- Risen Motherhood and At Home with Sally (Sally Clarkston)
Thank you for putting this video out today.
Thanks!!
Best podcast, Revive our Hearts with Nancy Walgemuth. Very inspiring and Biblically sound.
Another brasilian!!! 🇧🇷♥️ Oi!!!
@@eviewesner oieee! 👋🇧🇷😘
Que saudades do brasil!!!!
I enjoy "Fierce Marriage" it's a podcast with a Christian couple and they are great at talking about marriage from a biblical view point and they are very intentional about their topics and conversation, but it's also natural. I love them!
Dawn, I love your darker hair color!
Thank you!! I'm sending this to Diana 😉
I do too!!
I agree! I love the more natural color best! 🙂
@@TheMinimalMom You are blessed to have skin tone & features that bring out your beauty with either natural or lighter hair color.
I agree! It looks healthy and shinier dark!
Thank you for sharing! I have so noticed that I need alone time as well, I love having more family time but it will drain me without any time to myself. I appreciate both of your wisdom! ❤️
I enjoy the Risen Motherhood podcast because they tie in the gospel with the daily grind of motherhood... it helped me learn how to explain the gospel and also connect the gospel to the mundane of life
Every one of Diana's Prayers make me weep! Thank you so much, both of you, for all you do ❤❤❤
I love love love your natural hair color!
Favorite Christian author: Francine Rivers! Any novel by her is amazing. The Mark of the Lion Series is my favorite!
Benham brothers are really great! They give such great business/bible connections and also just a great word!
I also love Mark Driscoll he pastors a church in Arizona.
I love to listen to ANDREW WOMMACK. His teaching is so simple, basic and calm. Whew!!!
You have a great laugh, Dawn 😂 it’s very infectious 😄
Your sweet relationship with each other is a true testament of your Christlike faith.
And- I am thankful that you are so real! We need real people who love the Lord- especially in these days we are living through right now!
❤️Leslie
I love Andy Stanley’s teachings and books! He’s so real!
Love you two. When I feel down, I watch you and you cheer me up... and i have started clearing out and it is becoming obsessive.
I love Jennifer Rothchild's Podcast based on Philippians 4:13 - it's called 413 Podcast! She has done some awesome bible studies for Proverbs 31.
You are so right about you can’t lengthen pants. From a tall girl, I was always envious of my short friends!
I know I’m a little late, but Risen Motherhood is AMAZING. Quick little thoughts about how to keep Christ in motherhood!
Dawn your hair looks so nice and so natural. No hurry to consider any changes. Jennifer
Hi where in lock down again in England, seeing you to has really helped, I'm like dawn love some me time each day, never use to when I started watching you in the begin.l also love decluttering ,so true you do the big one at the begin, but still find more to donate which helps me mentally as its helping others and better for me mentally and physically.lot less to clean more time to enjoy the small things in life
Declan is just precious! I want to pick him up and give him a squeeze! It’s been so long since I’ve held a baby! ❤️
Podcast recommendations:
I prefer your hair colour as it is, it is shiny and looks healthier.
My favorite (and only) podcast is Pray Every Day with Mary Demuth (also one of my favorite authors). I'm subscribed to Beth Moore on RUclips, but I don't often have time to watch. Donna Partow is another favorite.
I LOVE the podcasts Among the Lillies and Fountain of Carrots 🥕❤️🙌🏻 So inspiring and uplifting podcast hosts/ messages ❤️🙌🏻🙏🏻
My tip is finding people who need you the same as you need them. I am a needy person who likes to spend lots of time with people. I had a hard time finding people who needed me that much. -Lindsay
As someone who's a triplet (I have two brothers, it was a huge surprise to my parents), I LOVE hearing these twin stories!!
I was in the middle of popularity too. The best place to be! I have 9 kids and it is fun!
You asked about favorite Christian podcasts / authors, so here are a few I think are really solid:
1) Risen Motherhood podcast and FB page- keeps my eyes fixed on Jesus in the midst of mothering.
2) Rachel Jankovic- Not afraid to share truth in the face of the lies the world is feeding us. I especially love her quick read book "Loving the Little Years."
3) John Piper- passionate about God and His word.
4) RC Sproul- more academic in nature, but makes complex truths about God's word more easily understandable.
5) Ruth Chou Simons- beautiful artist and communicator of truth.
Julie Slatery. Pod cast. Authentic Intimacy. All thing about sexuality from a Christian world view. So relevant and biblically solid.
I like MacArthur's daily sermons too. They are around 30 minutes long. I listen to them on the gty.org website.
So useful! I got it directly from the publisher, Tyndale.com
Love your videos. I gobble them up. Thank you for being so encouraging, honest, and yet challenging, too. Blessings on both of your families.
Risen Motherhood and Focus on the Family do great podcasts. FOCUS on the Family is usually super practical.
I have been watching Give Him 15 which is a podcast by Dutch Sheets. It's been encouraging to me for a couple years now. Monday thru Friday.
