I’m getting ready to start driving for Old Dominion. You have helped me make my decision to drive even easier. Thank you for what you do and helping me understand the ins and outs of trucking.
One thing I've learned while working several high-stress jobs, when your dog is acting needy, it is actually their way of saying hey, you need to relax some. At least it has always been that way with me. So give Dakota all the loving when you can. Dakota is a great stress reliever.

As a UPS Feeder driver myself, I leave these out of state long hauls to ya'll. I make well over 6 figures with full PPO Health & Dental insurance with company stock investments, 401k & pension plans all while going home every night & being with my beloved family. .. - Good Luck for future plans!

a dog is not just a dog at least not to my self shelby would know what i mean you’re dog is like your best friend it’s hard to explain like my little dog buddy he my world even more so since my mum passed away even on morning that mum passed away i came home i put buddy out side to go to tolet then i went to bed buddy always sleep on my bed at end of bed i got in to bed all of a sudden vi just started crying so hard buddy stod up came over to me cuddle up ro my he started holeling crying i didn’t even get around cto telling him that mum had passed away some how he just new that mum was gone dogs are very incredible even when i go to cemetery to see mum he stand thear looking at head stone plark sorry for going on about it just how i feel about dogs yes when what shelby and dakota on youtube you see that that have a special bond it’s so beautiful shelby and so are you very beautiful loveing a careing that is amazing you’re amazing miss shelby

Congratulations girl. We started our own company in 2016 and got our own authority in 2018. Haven’t looked back. You got this. It’s hard work but so worth it. My hubs has been driving for over 30 years. He got me to retire 2 urs ago and get my CDL and I love it. Keep rollin girl.

I’m not in the trucking business and don’t understand what the reasoning was for keeping the secret. Congratulations 👏 you must be probably the youngest Contractor in all of the FX ground Linehaul network. I started with one truck and have already six of them now for a while, I expanded about four years ago, running a small multi truck fleet is a completely different beast compared to just one truck. It is a great move, it’s challenging but also rewarding. Welcome to the big family of Linehaul Contractors and congratulations again.

Ive been in the transport industry for about 30yrs as a technician working on both trucks and trailers. The last 15yrs Ive been in the refrigeration side of the transport biz. I always feel bad you drivers when it comes to the holidays. But as I see you love the adventure and yes alot of drivers ive met over the years is that they love what they do and love seeing the country. Love from Vegas.

Well, you had me fooled. I was sure you were going to announce you were pregnant.
Great news about the company and the promo - I love the support for drivers, I work building/supporting nuclear power plants in UK and previously in Europe. I've always focussed on the people when building teams, too many people treat 'homan's' as a commodity, if you look after the guys and gals they will do the best for you even when you get it wrong or times are hard.

Great video. You seem pretty inspiring for those who may be looking into the trucking industry. I been growing up in this since I was 6 years old riding over the road with my ole dad every week. Since I graduated I been driving OTR on my own for 5 years now and I love it couldn’t find a better job making this kinda money and serving for this great country. The radio, not to give it away but for you too advertise there product. It’s like regifting a Christmas gift. You should of installed it in your truck, I could be wrong, but if I received a gift from someone, I differently would not give it away.

Just stumbled across your channel recently. Loving the content, you've got a very inspirational philosophy and outlook on life and work.
As a mechanic, another job that often goes very underappreciated and abused by companies, I also greatly appreciate your approach to the new company being very driver-centric. I hope you can make it work, expand and continue to be prosperous for you and your drivers.
If I was a trucker and was in search of new employment, I'd want to look at Bright. Way to go Shelby.
You can have all the empathy in the world for caring for your driver's but the most important thing is watching your bottom line. That takes priority because if you loose that, nothing else will matter and in today's economy it's incredibly difficult to recover from. It's not hard to do. Just be mindful.
And yeah, hurricane season has been hating on us hard this year. 🤣
I have those CB radio from my uncle he gave it to me 10 years ago. Cobra 29LTD ST. In my pickup truck and I had magnet base 3 ft. Antenna 1000xlt can reach up to 800 miles where I'm at... so it pretty good I like it a lot... be safe out there!!!

When you went to look and choose your new truck(s) in Houston a few months back and moving to Portland I knew it was your company. It doesn't matter, I just want to wish you success and I like the name Bright Mountain.

I'm thinking about getting back into trucking though, as a driver. Been out of it for 25 yrs, except for grain wagon, short trips to grain elevator from field on farm plates.
