- This is the 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible, that was just completed by Manns Restoration, in Festus, Missouri. It's powered by the big 430 cubic inch V8 and features a full leather interior, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and even a power top. Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it!
The Continental is a true work of art.
The really are impressive machines. Thanks for taking a look!
Sheer elegance.
These gentlemen are truly artisans, they re-create a masterpiece through a slow process, and the end result is just staggering.
Congratulations to all involved in the project.
Thank you for watching, we appreciate it!
Absolute beauty. Why don’t we have cars like these anymore? A fantastic restoration, congrats to the team!
Style and grace , absolutely stunning ! Thanks again my friend . Take care , Larry .
Thank you Larry, I appreciate you taking a look my friend!
The work that you people did on that car is stunning. Nuff said
Stunning restauration. A pleasure to watch.
Thumbs up for keeping your baby hush hush quiet.
To pick wire wheels for this car surprises me.
I would have stayed with the original wheels and wheel covers for this aristocratic car.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching, we appreciate it. The wire wheels were chosen by the owner of the car.
Re: 1964 Lincoln convertible restoration. I agree w/ your preference for original wheels and hub caps as we used to call them. Nothing compares w/ original!
Another repeated comment..not a car...a beautiful WORK OF ART ..in motion..
My son and I admired this car for years, the song “ Sugar” from Maroon Five just make you want one yesterday.
Beautiful car! Thank you.
Thank you for watching Steven, we appreciate it!
Absolutely beautiful. I have a 64 Lincoln convertible as well. It needs a new top. And we'll, it needs to be restored.
Thanks for taking a look!
WOOOFF WOOOFF WOOOW ABSOLUTELY STUNNINGLY FABULOUS AND BEAUTIFUL!! I SEE YOUR PERSONAL AMAZING PASSION IN YOUR BUSINESS AND WORKS !! THANKYOU THANKYOU FOR SHARING YOURSELF AND BEAUTIFUL INSIGHTS..MAGNIFICENT!!
These craftsmen did an awesome job. That car is drop-dead gorgeous!
Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it!
one of the truly significant American cars...stands alone...along with the Thunderbird of the same period as they shared the unibody construction, some parts and assembly processes...both built together in the Wixom plant, exclusive from other Fords. in '70 the Lincoln went back to just being a big, although nice, Ford...TBird too. I had a '64 Sand over Sand sedan that I drove across country several times...amazing car. unfortunately lost during a period of upheaval in my life...one of my few regrets...kept the window sticker and owners manual though. the vid car is beautiful...really like this black/tan over the usual black/white. It also has the seldom seen vacuum controlled column elevator, which mine also had. Thx for a great vid!
Thanks for checking it out Steve, we appreciate it! Good eye there...the owner was very pleased they were able to get the vacuum operated column operator working again. Maybe one day you can get yourself another Continental.
Very nice Lincoln. Also enjoyed all the cool camera angles on the ride. 😎

Absolute masterpiece. The excellent Mann’s crew has done it again.
Thanks for taking a look Dan, we appreciate it!
Many kudos to the folks at Mann's for their hard work and obvious dedication. God bless and TTFN.
Thanks for having a look Ian, we appreciate it!
Those long, straight sides of the Linc, and in black, no less. I can’t imagine anything more unforgiving of imperfection. What a job! (And your videos just seem to get better every time)
It really is a big slab-sided monster to get straight. Thanks for watching, we appreciate it!
Stunning car .
Nice one! I own a blue '64 convertible and they are super fun cars. Cheers!
Love the work and detail you have done. The car looks absolutely amazing!

Glad you liked it Wally, I appreciate you watching my friend!
I have a 1961 LC convertible and a 1964 LC hard top that I want these guys to restore for me!!!!
never thought a tan convertible roof would look nice in it. that looks amazing. and the small white wall tires look great on that.
Glad you like it, thanks for taking a look!
@@RamblinAround this has been my GOAT of a car since i was about 7. and i love looking at all the different ways people fix em and the style and colors they use. some look great and some look like crap. and some are great but use colors im not a fan of. but this looked so nice and classy with the tan top and the style white walls you used.
Good morning. Very nice work done on a very nice car. Thanks for sharing.👍👍
Thanks for checking it out, we appreciate it!
Wow that paint looks exquisite.
Very nice! Beautiful car, beautiful video!
Thank you for watching, we appreciate it!
Beautiful car, beautiful video.
Thank you, we appreciate you watching!
This is the correct way to bring one back ... perfect job .. 430 engine 👍 better wheels
For better brake cooling 👍 . Most shops are hack jobs air ride suspension section 8
Ghetto wheels .. and just ruin a classic with other junk and LS bullshit
This is awesome video thanks for posting perfect restoration
We are fortunate when restoration is bumper to bumper we retain original engine
Our last 430 was a mild performance build warmer cam cleaned up ports
We have family run machine shop 85 years in business ..
Only lazy shops remove original engines and transmissions
Again thanks for posting this video 👍
Glad you like it, thanks for watching!
Great video, great car
Great vid. It was really interesting seeing the amount of time and manpower it took to restore this classic. I've read "I sent it to a restorer...." but no details on all that it involved. Thanks.
Great video! I enjoyed this.
Good hard workers 👏👍
Craftsmanship I thought was gone here in the US. Amazing.
Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it!

Great job.
Grate job thanks for the video.
Thank you for watching!
This clip made me cry .😥😢😭😥🤧
Outstanding
The paint is amazing!! Do you know how long the restoration took and what shape it was in?
I'm not positive, but I'd guess around a year or so. This one was pretty solid to begin with, it only required some minor rust repair. Thanks for taking a look, we appreciate it!
💕🍺🎉Absolute Perfection 🍺A stunning ride.
There's one in a neighborhood near me just sitting there on someone's property with the keys in it wish I could buy it and drive it
Un coche precioso enhorabuena
Gracias por mirar!
@@RamblinAround 👍👍👍👍👍
Beautiful restoration! Ive never seen wheels like those. Were they original or from a later model?
I am currently looking to purchase. Is this car for sale? If not I would appreciate being connected to someone who is selling the Lincoln Continental Convertible.
Wow!
Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
You have to feel like you have arrived when you slide behind the wheel of this style Lincoln.
You skipped the interior upholstery. There seemed to be a gap on the right rear corner of the convertible top. Has the suspension, brakes, transmission, drive line, rear end, A/C and engine been upgraded to modern??
I skipped the upholstery because it hasn't been done yet. The owner wanted to take the car and enjoy it for a while, then bring it back to have the upholstery finished. Nothing has been modernized in the driveline, it has all been restored to factory specs.
Fantastic! Lovely, classy car.
But I couldn't own one. It looks like the car JFK was assassinated in.
Thanks for taking a look at it!
i wonder about total project cost with car.
