  • As one would imagine, quartz carvings are prevalent throughout China and the 2024 Nanjing Show is no exception.
In this clip, we wander into one of the big booths on the floor of the Expo Center for a company that seems to be selling beads. HOWEVER, all around the inner circumference of their booth, they've installed numerous modern display cases to exhibit a stellar collection of carvings made out of large quartz crystals.
From animals to landscapes to deities and more, this is a truly note-worthy collection of quartz carvings that worth the time to appreciate.

Awesome carvings, though the Chinese now has advanced technology and much of the commercial grade carvings in the market are machine carved. On this exhibit, the first carving is of a Pixiu in rutile quartz. The third carving is of Kwanyin, or Goddes of Mercy.

Thank you for that input. I’ll look those up so I understand them better and will be able to recognize them in the future.
